I watched most of Hao Lan, but I was not charmed by the chsracters. When the drama ended, I was relieved it was finally over. I didnt feel chemistry between the ML and FL. I liked the two actors, but they seemed mismatched in the drama.

Yuan Lang's eyes are shaped oddly. It looks like he has two left eyes. He should wear glasses, to detract from you from zooming on the eyes instead of his performance. 🤣🤣🤣 I can't stand him, btw. I can't wait for his downfall.

I watched Fairland Lovers, and I think he was overdubbed. It was wierd looking at his performance.

I started watching this drama a week ago, and was really intrigued with the plot and the actors. I have been watching it mostly of the ML (Father). After episode 10, I tried not to drop it because the plot is slow moving. After I finished ep 18, I decided to skip to 40, to see the outcome of the drama. Killing off the father is a huge disappointment.

The Father ML and daughter FL are very good casting. The smiling villain is good looking, and only slightly irritating, but the other two, Marquis Zhu Shi and High Priest spoil the screen. The set designs and CGI are elaborate while the costumes are not trend setting. The Flying Fish Ship is funny. This drama looks like a distant cousin of Novoland's Castle in the Sky, Tribes and Empires and Eagles Flag.

March 6 is the VIP finale, and March 21 is the general finale. The drama is good, so far.
