I am watching this drama for Song Joong Ki. His character, Vincenzo is bold and beautiful, and bad@**ed. The satellite characters/actors are not memorable, but Tak the Tailor/martial artist was awesome in episode 12.
I was surprised to see Taecyeon, who I have been following for years. His slapstick silly lawyer/psychotic killer chairman is not really entertaining especially when his hair perm mop is covering half his face. It detracts from his acting performance. The director should have differentiated his personality disorder. When he is the killer chairman, his hair should be combed back, to match his smart designer wardrobe.
The last episodes with the woman who was sick, thinking he was her loved one, was a stretch. When he started pretending to be the man, the girlfriend watched, as Woman asked him to kiss her. Girlfriend was getting angry.
You and I feel the same way about the little prince, Chengxuan. I realize "he" is following the scriptwriter's story, but he is childish and immature. He would blab Chengxu's plot if the writers told him to do so. LOL I don't like the actor for this role, btw. His face looks odd.
They deleted any hint of that event after her birthday dance performance, but the day after, if they had slept together. Ming Yu did not even bat an eyelid. Cold as ice!

Su Yu Ying is always hanging out with the concubines. She should not have that status even though she is married to Ninth Prince. I thought the empress's groupies were only the King's women.
This is the only drama that I am watching. I completed twenty-four episodes in less than two weeks. The drama is lengthy, and the story is slow. I love the costumes and the sets. The music is also very good. They should have trimmed 30% of the script, and told the entire story in three dozen episodes. The Legend of Lan Ming Yu should have been the title.
It is a forgettable drama. I don't recall much except Hu Ge and Chen Long. The girlfriend actress was dull. There was one pretty supporting actress. That relationship fizzled.
