I haven't been glued to the screen since Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms Eternal Love and Nirvana in Fire. I watched NIF a year after the release, and marathoned it in three weeks. I watched Eternal Love as soon as Drama Fever dropped every episode, almost daily. Hi, from Los Angeles!

I like everything about this drama.. Even the supporting charcters are good. Worth watching it....
I like the three top lead actors. I hope that Jingling finds a love interest. I don't like Lu Yuan's sister for Jingling. Li Ge's accomplice assassin is falling in love with her, not knowing her family tree. Lige's main maid is very annoying. The actress is acting over the top, hamming it up for the camera. Director should have dialed her down.

Hello! Song of Glory is a treasure. I can't remember any good costume dramas since Joy of Life. I watched two other dramas, but they were mediocre. I dropped Ancient Oath of the Gods midway.

Yes, to all of the above! I started the drama last Tuesday, and marathoned 18 episodes in five days. I had to double check the Viki subbing percentage when I noticed the characters were talking, but there was no sub. The progression of the friendship between "Fourth Brother" and 'Heroine' is refreshing. I can't wait for the moment they finally meet on the wedding day.

I mentioned on a blog that Li Qin might be the most diverse female actor in China. she steps outside the box with every acting job. She was as demented as Lu Yuan in Princess Agents.

Even those antagonists are charismatic. They are so good in bringing out the evil in people.
Lu Yuan looks perpetually irritated/scowling. The only change was at his father's confession in the palace, and the pagan funeral. I wish that he and Shen LeQing would marry each other.

I watched eight episodes in three days, and so far, it's very good. The characters/actors are charismatic, except for Mother Queen, Lu Yuan and Shen Leqing.

Same here! I am not interested in a season 2 or 3. If they can't end it in episode 48, that's the end of the line for me. 48 episodes is way too long to tell a story, especially if there is drag and filler. Some of the scenes with the King and Mother, Hong Xuan's Wife and Female Spirit, General Ming's Wife and anyone, Female who likes Hong Shuo, Female Spirit and anyone, are boring.

I agree with you. When they drag out the episodes, I start losing the thread of the story. The jumbled editing of scenes is not helping either. I haven't even memorized the names of characters, except for Hong Xuan, Hong Yi, Hong Shuo and Ming Yefeng.

I love the Wolf Tribe General Ming Ye Feng! To me he should be listed as a main character. Handsome and charisma.
I agree with you. Ming should be listed as main role. He brightens the episodes. Who is Bai Li Hao He? Hong Xuan seems bland.
