I suspected Cheng Kong in Crying in Chengfo Temple, Sheriff Du Yu in Five Feet from Heaven and Yu Yao in Age Borrower. It is taking a while to finish the drama. I am on ep 35 now... on to a new case, which Is the final case.

Lu Ling Feng and Du Yu might be the two best looking male characters. I wish Du Yu was a good guy, but playing a villain shows Lu Hong's diverse acting skills.

I suspected there was more to Du Yu than his official Sheriff job title. I was surprised when he turned out to be a serial killer with his brother-in-law, Wei Tao, who irritated me from the start. I feel sad for Lu, who respected the two men, to the end. They had their reasons for killing the nine merchants. If they had arrested He, he might have been released by Emperor. He was another good looking character who seemed duplicitous.

Anson Shi's face looked familiar. He was Young Ye Hua in Eternal Love.

Zhou Jun Chao is a very talented actor. His acting in Strange Tales f Tang Dynasty Season 1 and Season 3 is very good. He outacted the actors in Season 1.

I was not paying attention when Su Ming confronted Birdman about his face mask. Was he saying that the face belonged to one of the Triplets? I watched the episode where Su Ming and Lu released Birdman and his bird friend. He looked short and small in frame.
