I know we have seen only one-third of the drama, but the performances by all departments (in front of the camera and behind the camera) are high quality, so far. The few things that I don't like are the poor pigs being slaughtered, and the obnoxious human pigs, Mr Guo, Madame Kang, Song Yan and Mother.

I think there was a drama last year where a HE was expected, per the book ending, and the writers took it into the other direction.

He was sunbathing in winter, with snow on the rooftops. Noticeably, there wasn't snow on the ground in the village.

I didn't realize that Gongsun Yin had turned in the Princess to the palace. Did he know her royal identity all along? Did he decide to send her away after their conversation about playing GO? He realized that she was in love with him, and a marriage alliance was highly improbable. I wondered why he gave the bracelet to the monk. Did Nanny bring the outfit and jewels for her to change into?

The writers really wanted to torture Qi Min mercilessly. He and Qian Qian would have made a nice couple, visually.

Her grandson is a bully, just like her.

I have been waiting for Deng Ke's arrival. Is Qi Min, an undercover prince, or the father of Yu Qian Qian's son? It looked like the poor child is living underground. Has he seen the light of day? It looks like we will have three couples, but Lord Li will be lonely. Qi Min's light colored hair looked nice.

Question: Why did it take sixteen years for the assassin squadron to locate Fan Chang Yu's father and mother, to kill them? I am trying to figure out who's who among the senior palace characters, and who's bad, and who's good. Prime Minister looks middle-aged. Is he bad, or good? Emperor looks young, and scared of Prime Minister.

Who is the Eldest Young Master who entered at the end of episode 9. At first I thought it was Deng Ke, but this actor guy looks different... and also good looking.

Is Lord Li , an ally or an enemy? There were a few cute moments in episode 9. The female villagers are gossipy.

I liked Unveil Jadewind, but this one is now my favorite.
