We know they are in their 40s, but when I am watching it, I don't see two middle-aged persons in my mind's eye. LOL I believe the ML is 50 in the J-drama version. The J-drama is on Amazon Prime, but I don't know if I will watch it. I went searching for the K-drama, but couldn't find it anywhere. I havent' seen the Kdrama since 2009.

Yu Yu is a fastidious character with tunnel vision, but he turns around almost immediately, which you do not expect. He must have been very lonely growing up with the mother and sister, and maybe the dad (... now deceased). It's a very good role for Wallace Huo. IHe, Huang Xiao Ming and Andy Lau were on my most handsome C-actor list.

I had a similar impression with the Kdrama version until the doctor became a prominent character.

The short drama concept worked well for this drama. There is relatively no filler... so far (up to episode 11), and the story flows seamlessly.

I wish Cdramaland would shorten contemporary dramas, including Republican dramas, as well as costume dramas.

Episode 11 was interesting except for the bike segment, which was too long. I thought Yu Yu would buy a car, but Mr Gu ending up buying five cars, which gave Xia a huge surprise and big commission. I was waiting for Yu Yu to give the Vespa scooter to Shen Wu at the end of the episode, but we have to wait for Yu Yu's random acts of generosity and kindness. Yu Yu should have apologized to Dao for punishing him for breaking his beloved trophy and model toy car. Xia should not be repaying Yu Yu for the hospital and doctor bills because he caused the injury to her hand.

In the K-drama, there was a young man who liked the female neighbor, and I think they ended up together. I do know if Shen Wu is the counterpart. I mostly remember the ML, FL Dr and their interaction, and the young female neighbor and her dog.

I knew Dao did not break the trophy or toy car. It was Yu Yu's fault for not moving it, and not shutting the window or patio door. I am surprised that Yu Yu did not have the CCTV filming the room.

The plot is also similar to the K-drama, He Who Can't Marry. I can't remember the ML's profession, but I remember some scenes that are very similar to the C-drama.

When Dr Ye's father suddenly showed up, and was not going away, I was worried that he had a terminal disease, like they have done in other dramas. Glad, it was only his impending wedding.

I agree. The man is harassing Xia. I thought she should block his number, but in he long run, if she keeps all his text messages and phone messages, she will have evidence to use against him.

I agree with you on the Lin Sa and Shen Wu interaction with Yu Yu. There was a scene where Shen Wu ended up pushing Yu Yu to the ground. Yu Yu is so timid inside, that he did not react to it. In reality, Yu Yu would have retaliated and slapped Shen Wu.

Does Yu Yu have his own architectural business, and is he working with Lin Sa's design company? She seems to be controlling Yu Yu. She shows up with snacks, and a massager, which she starts using on him. I don't think Yu Yu and Lin Sa ever had that close relationship. She has been in love with him for many years. Shen Wu is so mediocre after ten years working with Yu Yu. He hasn't matured. He should be 30ish, but acts like he is 20.

His reaction shots are amazing. The director, animal handler and cameraman really worked together to film Dao's scenes.

Pug Dao is my #1 favorite character. He is stealing the show. I am waiting to see Yu Yu taking care of Dao. Dao might be the only individual to enter Yu Yu's apartment, besides Dr Jia.

Pug Dao is stealing the show. He reacts to his Mom and Yu Yu when they are talking to each other. His reaction shots are top notch. I think Yu Yu's name is Dao. He and Pug Dao have a connection.

I binge watched the first nine episodes yesterday. Some of the plot is identical to the K-drama, He Who Can't Marry. Wallace Hao and Ji Jin Hee even look alike in a few scenes. I did not see the J-drama version, to know if the plots are identical. I like Wallace Hao and Zhu Zhu, and the pug Dao. The other characters irritate me sometimes. If I remember correctly, Ms Lin was in love with Yu Yu for years. I had recognized Ouyang's face from somewhere. I didn't know it was Edward Zhang until I checked the castlist.

I keep waiting for Yu Yu to buy an expensive car from Xia's car dealer, so she can earn a big commission.

Cute mini K-POP drama!

Er Ye transformed while in Opera costume, and he looked pretty in Opera makeup. He had a beautiful wardrobe throughout the drama. I watched his side story, The Mystic Nine Side Story: Flowers Bloom in February, but I forgot the plot.
