The original author and the screenwriter have a prolific imagination, to create all these cases. My most favorite characters in the drama are Li Pei Yi and Du Zhi Ying. The actors should team up again in another drama.

I was curious why he was standing in the shadows, and Pei YI did not detect him. He must be a guardian, either arranged by Master Du, Emperor or the Senior Xiao. I didn't notice him in previous episodes.

I agree with you. Mr Song could have taken Ying as a servant girl, and taught her on the sidelines. Pei Yu had potential as his student. Instead, Mr Song agreed to the identity swap. He must have been as rigid and narrow minded in his thinking as was Yin. Then Pei Yu went into the palace and gave up his manhood, to become a eunuch, to be close to her. That whole plot is so convoluted.

I love the scenes where they are gazing at the sky. Mr Xiao can't make the first move, but you see his admiration of her. Then Miss Li, looking romantic, makes some matter of fact comment. LOL

I love the investigative team. There is no conflict among them. They coordinate well. They get 100% on teamwork and collaboration. I haven't seen this in my office environment.

I don't understand why she covered his eyes. He's not a child. I think she should give him more credit. It makes him look sensitive and delicate, which he has not displayed before. I could see the scene playing out, if Li Pei Yi was a male, and Xiao Huai Jin was a female.

I saw that look of instant jealousy. LOL I also think he was referring to her (...Young Pei Yi).
