Hello, Nick_Fox! I was waiting for a new costume drama to drop after TFJ ended. I looked for BOP for three days before the premiere, then I forgot about it. LOL I am glad the second maid capitulated. She was scared Shen Xi He was going to kill her. The first one who fell off the boat might reappear later. The third maid had a day off. I didn't see her at the end of episode 1. The other three princes (including Jeremy Xu) are also good looking. I wonder if the Emperor is good looking too. I see that Gao Wei Guang makes an appearance as a Prince. The female staff must have tripping over themselves with all the handsome princes around.

There are only two scriptwriters, so the writing quality should be tight.

LOL I should be able to catch up on the eleven episodes in three days, when there will be 5,000 comments. The first two princes to make an appearance look cute. I am guessing they will both fall in love with her. Shen Xi He / Gu Qing Zhi is a bit chilly and stiff. She could crack a smile occasionally. She needs to get rid of the maids, and hire new ones. They are know-it-all control servants. The first role I remember Meng Zi Yi is in Parallel World, when she was the villain.

The three-screen split when Kim and Park Gang Seong were fighting, was so fake. The director didn't want the actors to use their physical strength to prevent injury, or not show their lack of action fight skills, so they made a collage of the fight. I guess Director was going for a live action anime vibe. I wonder if they even hired an Action Director.

The little girl looked too cute and adorable.

I watched A Legend on YouTube free on July 9, 2026. The CGI or AI looked fake in some scenes. I couldn't understand the military characters acted by Jackie Chan and Lay Zhang. Zhao Zhan looked like Jackie, but then, he didn't. They should have AI'd in his 30ish face. There is a mention of an actor Ye Cheng who also appeared to be Zhao Zhan. Hua Jun looked like Lay Zhang with a wide face.

I didn't connect Peng Xiaoran with the Mystic Nine drama until I read the comments on the Jackie Chan movie, A Legend.I watched ths move on Youtube in July 2026.

I was surprised to see Kim Hee Sun at the end. I watched the Myth two decades ago, so I don't remember the movie. I guess her character and Professor had a relationship in the past.
