I have been respecting your opinion but you just crossed the line by judging my comments. First of all I've watched Hidden Love. So you have no right to say that "only those people who didn't see Hidden Love will think it as stand alone". The fact that they are changing Sang Zhi's clothes here says it all that they might be giving the novel adaptation a little twist. If drama adaptation will always be the same in the novel then what's the purpose of adapting it live? It's just like your basically reading the novel (it's just that it's a live adaptation). Also I am updated with Hidden Love's success. No need to be so redundant here. I've seen other fans here treat this as non related drama, I wish that some other people had the brain to understand that. But Oh My! 🤦‍♀️ But instead they wanted it to make it a big issue about this and that. I can see that this conversation is over now.

In The Last Immortal they have copy right issues. That's one of the comments I read somewhere. Hence they change the names in that drama, Also they wanted to make that drama as a stand alone as they don't want to be compared to Ancient Love Poetry. Also another drama Moonlight Mystique (Bai Lu as Yue Mi and Ao Rui Peng as Tian Qi) they were not the Original Yue Mi and Tian Qi who performed in Ancient Love Poetry, yet I did not see negative words about it as much in here. This is normal in Chinese Entertainment re-casting. This is why I said earlier that this drama might be non related (Treat it as), I'm sure the Production team will do their best in this drama. I've seen some novel fans here supporting both. Sometimes a novel story doesn't need to be so similar in the adapted drama, Sometimes they will change some things. Maybe being too cute is the reason why Zhang Ruo Nan is casted in this drama. I find her beauty unique. Let's not judge it too much. Let's wait and see what happens.

Yes. The dramas have the same character and novel is written by one author but doesn't mean the characters have to wear the same clothes and accessories from the drama Hidden Love. We are talking about the drama First Frost. The story of Sang Yan so of course the Production team will make the clothing a bit different than copy the same clothes in Hidden Love.. I know Bai Jing Ting will nail this one like You are my Hero.

Some people will say at first it will not explode but once a drama airs it always explodes. (this is from observations from previous dramas).

P.S I'm not upset towards you, because I can see you are not a hater. I just don't understand others why the negative things around everything? Towards Bai Jing Ting and the clothes.
