Poor Yang Mi. Some people are disliking this drama because of her age and the way the drama ended.

Opinions and preferences are similar in that they both reflect an individual's subjective viewpoint. I am being respectful to you, when you suddenly brought up disliking "older woman". The way I interpreted your comments and replies are biased.

Here we go again. Someone disliking older woman. Trope or not.. Why are you interfering when the convo already ended? No one should be disliking an older woman just because she is older than the ML. What are we? Still in ancient times? I prefer older woman/man because they are much more matured in thinking, have more experiences in life, Also may I remind you Jing Tian (35) is also older than Xu Kai while Yang Mi is (37). I will bring this back at you, why are you controlling my comment/opinions when we are in the 21st century?

Just like the director making his creativity of BEITD. The same with the director of SAHPH. Like come on! This is the 21st century and I am still seeing some persons having problems with older woman trope dramas. That just doesn't make sense at all! Ever!

It's not "IRRELEVANT LAWS" as per what you are saying.
Relevant Laws and Regulations means, with respect to any person, any laws, rules, administrative or departmental regulations, directives, notices, treaties, judgments, decrees or orders of any governmental or regulatory authority that are applicable to and binding on such person.

Age is just a number. So Yang Mi being old is no problem, also this is how the story is when the project was given to both of them. Please let us not spread hate on woman just because they are old/ just because they don't match for Xu Kai. Let's learn to respect them. Even if the older woman theme is popular, this is work, they are paid to do this kind of job for dramas. Just take for example Johnny Huang, he always have female leads that are much older than him except Zhang Jing Yi. FL in FIYS lacked facial expression, she is not even smiling, always have one expression like pouting/sad. She only knows how to act cute. haha. I have no problems with the other characters from that drama but still, like I've said CX is much more suited on dancing. Just focus on that part. This is why I did not watch CX and LYX drama. Yes, Xu Kai is good at dramas be it Xianxia, Historical or Modern. Seven Tan dramas always top when aired. I've seen her in 3 dramas so far.

It's not the directors fault. It should be the make-up artist. I have watched many dramas of Xu Kai ever since Untouchable Lovers. FIYS is ok, but the female from that drama needs to improve her acting, she's better off at dancing. Yang Mi is very much respected in China and helped many artist. Action roles suit her more like being the General (TGW) rather than in LOZ, though her make up is too much on that drama like a vampire.

She's good. I've watched Jing Tian in the movie called The Great Wall (2016).

Esther Yu is good. Just don't mind the negative words about her. Also a heads up her voice there is her real voice.
