Sure Jan, I'm pretending to be a Zhang Jing Yi fan and I'm using her name just to slight your fav🙄 (I literally watched 'Blossom in Adversity' and 'Reborn' just for her but okay...) Let me get this straight, I didn't like LOZH but said NOTHING about XZ's acting 🙄 (stop inventing things to suit your narrative) Looks like my comment over there hit a nerve. Get over it, it was just my opinion (something that everyone has the right to express) and your drama's rating hasn't dropped/decreased so chill.
One word: MASTERPIECE. I decided to watch it because both leads impressed me in their previous works and I don't regret it. Whole cast/production is bringing their 'A' game here. Kudos and thanks to 'Twelve Letters' team for bringing such a memorable gem!
Zhou Yi Ran and Wang Ying Lu are proving once again they are actors worth watching for in the future. What a beautiful and meaningful story❤️ I was bawling my eyes out the whole time but you also can't help but smile with our leads (their smiles were really contagious). It didn't feel like I was watching a fiction but more like I was sharing the lives and hardships of those characters (I cried and laughed with them, got angry and anxious for them *weird I know*) This drama and its characters will probably stay a long time with me. Hard to say goodbye tbh😅 10/10 ( and mind you, I rarely give full marks)

You're reaping what you sow (your fandom has been harassing the production since May )...I gave 1.5 but I never said anything about your fav's acting skills (unlike you who resorted to disparage Cheng Yi's looks and acting). Not my fault if you can't accept criticism....I gave similar ratings to other drama but no one complained🤷♀️

Your reply is probably the most sensible one....thanks. I'm indeed a big Zhang Jing Yi's fan and was kinda disappointed by her lack of screentime and so I didn't have the patience to push through... As for Xiao Zhan, I watched some of his other works and I did like 'The Oath of Love' and that modern drama with Bai Bai He. I prefer him in modern attire I guess. While he's not one of my fav, if one of his works has an interesting story, I watch (I can't deny that his fandom's behavior is rubbing me the wrong way/turn me off though...sorry not sorry). I'm a multiple fan so I'm not watching for a particular actor (I for example decided to wait before watching 'The Journey of Legend' and I for instance love Dylan Wang but hated with passion his drama with BaiLu) I don't always update my watching list (many dramas and movies that I have indeed completed are missing~ most of Jackson Yee's filmography for example and he's for me the most promising and talented actor in the industry)
I really tried for Zhang Jing Yi's sake but 14 episodes in and I feel bored. Many were raving about that drama and I wanted to give it a shot but alas it wasn't for me I guess *sigh*
I'm wondering when Zhu Zheng Ting's character will appear tbh?!?Isn't he supposed to be one of the leads (he has been promoting with the main cast after all)
