I've never seen Cheng Yi kiss on screen yet, is he a good one?
I wouldn't expect much here...this is part of the Fox Spirit series and is mainly aimed at a teenage audience. Both, Red Moon Pact and LIP had very PG-13 kisses aka 'fish kiss' Concerning Cheng Yi 💋 skills (watched almost of his romance shows), don't worry, he's a good one (Love and Redemption ep.52 is iconic for me🤭😌)

Visually stunning, chemistry on fire, great ensemble cast, beautiful OST and amazing CGI. 'Love in the Clouds' ended up as the winner of the current batch of dramas for me. Hou Ming Hao's acting is soothing, charming and effective. I can't possibly imagine another actor better suited for the role of Ji Bo Zai. Lu Yu Xiao did a great job as well. Whoever decided to pair those two together deserves a raise💵 I truly enjoyed this show from start to finish...no dull moment imo. I will sure miss it! 2025 has been quite a good year for fantasy dramas (Love of the Divine Tree, When Destiny Brings the Demon and Moonlight Mystique were all enjoyable watch)

Already love the dynamic between our leads💕 It's been a while seeing Cheng Yi with a loveline🥹 My girl Li Yi Tong is like the perfect partner for him imo. Can't wait for next episodes 😍
I swear no one is doing 'longing/yearning' like Li Yun Rui💔. Boy is very good. I felt so much for his character and was devastated for him at the end. Man finally got to marry the love of his life, only got to enjoy some brief time with her to lose her forever...he spent his remaining days reminiscing their time together and hoping for her to come back (he even rebuilt the restaurant and kept on writing about the Shen family, fearing he would forget them otherwise 😿 ) That was so cruel. I still liked the drama but was it really necessary to add further trauma to an already broken man? (he already lost so much in his life)
Best thing about this drama is the sizzling chemistry between the leads and the OST imo. Li Yun Rui and Wang Ying Lu really nailed their roles and made my heart flutter during their scenes 💓 I'd have given a 8.5 without that scene in last episode. Finale rating: 8/10

Unpopular opinion: Li Yun Rui has more chemistry with Wang Ying Lu than Meng Zi Yi in 'Blossom' imo The slow burn romance and angst is what makes things interesting here tbh (mind you, I'm also frustrated because there's no much episodes left😅 and I want them to resolve the misunderstanding asap and finally be together *they really need to put a stop to the last minute happy endings, I hate them*)...butterflies in the stomach everytime they look at each other,...her: repressing her feelings, believing she's in a forbidden love with her ancestor, him being confused as hell by her hot and cold behaviour...it's peak romance here 😜
