Best thing about this drama is the chemistry. Show is cute and funny but very confusing at times. I enjoyed it till episode 17 then it went a bit downhill... OST is nice, acting is uneven (leads are the best part tbh) and writing is okayish. As I said earlier, chemistry between the leads is the saving grace...Theo and LYX's chemistry was lovely and felt natural. I wouldn't mind seeing them paired again in another project (a better one of course!) Final rating: 7.5/10
Has this one been shelved or what? 4 years? Youku, seriously, what's your problem?!? A Zhu Zheng Ting and Li Landi's pairing sounds like a match made in heaven..please, release it asap!!
The drama continues to stand out, becoming more and more interesting and captivating! The narrative adapts well…
Wtf?!? The word 'not very handsome' doesn't belong in the same sentence as Zhang Ling He. It's an oxymoron. Man is drop dead gorgeous...probably one of the most handsome guy in the industry.
Hum no, he's not carrying the drama on his back and not the only reason people tuned in to this drama in the end...this…
Whatever...my main reason for watching this is that's the prequel of TBOY. I can assure you most people started this show for the same reason. That's why I think it's unfair to say that only one person carry the damn thing when whole cast is giving their best to give justice to the franchise/original source material. TBOY had set the bar really high.
TBOY's rating on Douban---> 8.3 (One of the highest score for a wuxia)
Oh? After TBOY constantly doing Tang Lian dirty in the posters, did they finally learn how to appreciate other…
I was wondering the same tbh...there's room on the left for example...maybe the person who took the picture cut Neo out of the frame (intentionally or not?? )
Edit: I've searched on Weibo for her profile and couldn't find the picture anymore (it was probably deleted)
nothing for the main lead when he's been carrying the drama on his back and is the entire reason why it's popular…
Hum no, he's not carrying the drama on his back and not the only reason people tuned in to this drama in the end...this is an ensemble cast effort. But it indeed sucks that they omitted Neo when he's clearly the main lead/character.
Struggling to continue, knowing this is all caused by annoying ass Yi Wenjun. I’ve never seen an author write…
Luo Qing Yang is right, she's just a sacrificial lamb. She's basically a tool in this political game. I must say I pity her, she never had the freedom to choose what she really wants... I now understand how she became so jaded and listless when we met her again in TBOY. She has lost the love of her life and had to separate from one of her sons due to Prince Jing's blackmail (futur Emperor Ming De) That's cruel to say the least.
Final rating: 7.5/10
