I agree with you.. He shouldn't have made a decision to make her forget. However, girls are kind of smarter in…
haha to each his own I guess because I literally loved this couple (constable and bull spirit), they had a lot of chemistry and their love story was really moving and heartbreaking imo (more than our main pairing who is lacking so much in comparison) We can all agree Yan Ru Shan was being a noble idiot here(I also hate that trope in dramas) and didn't consider much her feelings when he took this decision. However, if I'm putting myself in his shoes, I can understand his choice... Considering he's been sentenced to life imprisonment, he just doesn't want her to ruin her life waiting for him, knowing their love is doomed anyway since she's a human and will most probably die before his release (better forget than eternal longing ). Still, thanks God for Hong Hong thwarting his plan in the end. They have beautiful closure. I have a soft spot for this couple+ it doesn't hurt that Mao Zi Jun is easy on the eye (first time watching him and he's charming)
As for the side couples:
A Lai and Yaya are cute but their chemistry is so-so (he's doing most of the work)
Princess and Shi Kuan were my fav couple but their ending is disappointing? (though I heard she's supposed to reincarnate+I saw the bts of this couple and there's a kiss)
Wei Shang and Ti Xia just appeared so I don't have much to say about them for the moment but I'm afraid their story is a bit childish to my taste.
PS, it's hard to believe the MC is only 22, he has a bright future ahead
His acting is very intense and mature for his age+ the fact he's using his own voice is a huge plus. Boy has indeed a promising future ahead of him, just hope he'll be able to escape from Yu Zheng's claws, unscathed...
i just came home from a china trip and was able to get on a bullet train. the whole time i was thinking about…
haha same, while I was riding the bullet train (Shanghai to Hunan Province), I thought about Wang Xin and Ma Kui a lot and how much I learnt about the railway system in China thanks to this show (and its evolution over the years). It was a good drama. Very underrated.
No, they're dubbed. Cheng Yi is dubbed by voice actor Zhang Jie (He also dubbed him in 'Immortal Samsara' minus Xuan Ye who is dubbed by Cheng Yi himself)
Yuan Bing Yan is dubbed by Qiao Shiyu.
If you're interested in hearing their real voices, I suggest you to watch 'Mysterious Lotus Casebook' (Li Lianhua ) for Cheng Yi and 'Ever Night' (Mo Shanshan) for Yuan Bing Yan.
Wasn't it a fanmade one though? Browsed Weibo and didn't find anything...
Phew, what a relief! Thanks everyone for clarifying things, I feel better and hope that's final🤞 (something like changing their minds at last minute, you know *trust no one*) ..all in all, that's good, it would be a crime to keep on dubbing his lovely voice🤧
Still, I need a release date, I'm dying over here😭

Oh ok, thanks for the info. Netizens seem to complain about the dubbing? Cheng Yi would be dubbed and they're not happy about it (I feel the same tbh😞) Some are also a bit angry with the producer for being an hypocrite...he's the one who posted it, then warned people to take it down and not spreading it without authorization or they will be faced with legal action (I've used google translation so I'm not too sure about this one?)
Someone even took some captures of the leaked trailer:
Someone even commented: "You've all seen it but I didn't" haha *crying in a corner as well*
All in all, I'm wondering why is it so hard for this drama to even get an official poster? What was the problem with that leaked trailer for it to be taken down almost immediately? Maybe it was a mistake and they will post it again soon? arghh ...so many questions😭
I was expecting for this drama to be released this spring or even summer but no platform has it in their line-up for the moment and that's annoying to say the least.
No offense but you clearly didn't watch enough Bai Jing Ting dramas to say that. Boy is very versatile therefore…
No offense taken☺️ As for Bai Jing Ting leaning more on the feminine side, I respectfully disagree and personally don't see it...don't be fooled by his angelic face, he's the athletic type ( he works out a lot and plays basketball)
Finally you randomly named Zhai Xiao Wen as a better fit for the role (since he's part of the cast) but once again I don't see it (sorry). I've first seen him in 'Sweet Teeth' and I'd say he's the one with more feminine features (he's cute and all but he's quite thin and doesn't have much broad shoulders or that manly aura you're talking about)
While I respect your opinion and can understand your disappointment as a novel fan over the casting of a certain actor, I just wanted to point out the misconceptions you might have about Bai Jing Ting (on how his physique/looks and personality? may not suit the role)
That's all! Hope you will still watch it and like it when it will come out😊
He is liike that cockroach who probably will survive the nuclear attack too..
Indeed...he's stealing the show as a sidekick villain+ the actor playing him (Li Yu Hao) is drop dead gorgeous and uses his own voice👏 (even leads are dubbed!!) (hope to see him in more stuff in the future)
Oops ,sorry, I already struggled for months just to reach that point in the series, I couldn't go any further...I really wanted to like it and I can see why people consider it a classic but it was just not for me. I didn't get the appeal but to each his own I guess.
Yuechu is indeed goofier and mischievous (he's young and a human after all). Yehua was more serious (he's a celestial being). I dropped 'Eternal Love' at 30 episodes, never warmed up to it tbh (it was boring and chemistry between the leads was off imo... I even preferred the Dilraba/Gao Wei Guang's story over them) but I can see the similarities (probably a nod to it😉)
As a BIG fan of Sang Yan (MY MAN MY LOVE MY LIFE). I was a little dissapointed with this ML casting. No hate to…
No offense but you clearly didn't watch enough Bai Jing Ting dramas to say that. Boy is very versatile therefore playing Sang Yan won't be a problem (more like a piece of cake for him). I'm not worried about his casting at all, he will slay as usual.
Genuinely curious here...Who would have been your first choice for the role?

Proof he has broad shoulders, abs and he's manly😉
