I loved Victor Ma as Sang Yan in 'Hidden Love' but let's be honest here, he doesn't have the starpower to carry a drama. Bai Jing Ting's casting makes sense imo, he's a versatile and more seasoned actor. I already know he will nail this role.

To sum up: Not your idol drama with pretty visuals that will appeal to global audience (that's why I was surprised it was made available on the international app tbh) . I'm watching this mainly for Bai Jing Ting and I must say I'm enjoying it thus far...it's a slice of life, perfect for the Chinese New Year holidays imo. Target audience: Mainland China.

I wouldn't take seriously comments made on that blog tbh(Koalasplayground)...most are Xiao Zhan stans who have little care for other artists (truth is very few find favour in their eyes) .
