haha same, while I was riding the bullet train (Shanghai to Hunan Province), I thought about Wang Xin and Ma Kui a lot and how much I learnt about the railway system in China thanks to this show (and its evolution over the years). It was a good drama. Very underrated.
No, they're dubbed. Cheng Yi is dubbed by voice actor Zhang Jie (He also dubbed him in 'Immortal Samsara' minus Xuan Ye who is dubbed by Cheng Yi himself)
Yuan Bing Yan is dubbed by Qiao Shiyu.
If you're interested in hearing their real voices, I suggest you to watch 'Mysterious Lotus Casebook' (Li Lianhua ) for Cheng Yi and 'Ever Night' (Mo Shanshan) for Yuan Bing Yan.

Oh ok, thanks for the info. Netizens seem to complain about the dubbing? Cheng Yi would be dubbed and they're not happy about it (I feel the same tbh😞) Some are also a bit angry with the producer for being an hypocrite...he's the one who posted it, then warned people to take it down and not spreading it without authorization or they will be faced with legal action (I've used google translation so I'm not too sure about this one?)

I was expecting for this drama to be released this spring or even summer but no platform has it in their line-up for the moment and that's annoying to say the least.

No offense taken☺️ As for Bai Jing Ting leaning more on the feminine side, I respectfully disagree and personally don't see it...don't be fooled by his angelic face, he's the athletic type ( he works out a lot and plays basketball)
Finally you randomly named Zhai Xiao Wen as a better fit for the role (since he's part of the cast) but once again I don't see it (sorry). I've first seen him in 'Sweet Teeth' and I'd say he's the one with more feminine features (he's cute and all but he's quite thin and doesn't have much broad shoulders or that manly aura you're talking about)
While I respect your opinion and can understand your disappointment as a novel fan over the casting of a certain actor, I just wanted to point out the misconceptions you might have about Bai Jing Ting (on how his physique/looks and personality? may not suit the role)

Indeed...he's stealing the show as a sidekick villain+ the actor playing him (Li Yu Hao) is drop dead gorgeous and uses his own voice👏 (even leads are dubbed!!) (hope to see him in more stuff in the future)
Oops ,sorry, I already struggled for months just to reach that point in the series, I couldn't go any further...I really wanted to like it and I can see why people consider it a classic but it was just not for me. I didn't get the appeal but to each his own I guess.
Yuechu is indeed goofier and mischievous (he's young and a human after all). Yehua was more serious (he's a celestial being). I dropped 'Eternal Love' at 30 episodes, never warmed up to it tbh (it was boring and chemistry between the leads was off imo... I even preferred the Dilraba/Gao Wei Guang's story over them) but I can see the similarities (probably a nod to it😉)
As a BIG fan of Sang Yan (MY MAN MY LOVE MY LIFE). I was a little dissapointed with this ML casting. No hate to…

That's indeed disappointing. First 10 episodes failed to attract viewers and now that it has finally picked up, audience already left... Editing team is mainly at fault here...How is it possible to immerse into a world when convos/scenes are cut short/abruptly? I'm still enjoying the show but for a S+ drama, they could have done better...it really doesn't give justice to this much awaited production imo. I mostly feel bad for the actors whose work is wasted in the end *sigh*
