TBH, they should have switched the characters. Joseph Zeng could have played Young Master Xue instead of this cameo....cutting out the cameo would have been easier.

And he acts just the same with the Emperor...a little bit more restraint due to differences in status but still...haha We definitely need more Ru Shou in season 2...
I think my favourite character is Ru Shou…. He is really hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 albeit his minimal screen time.
