Stop lying ladies, you all know you would be friendzoning Mr. nice guy (Jing) in real life, while giving him bombastic…
First, we should all feel sorry for the guy since his whole family is deadset on making his life a living hell. XY likes his kindness and forgiving nature. Second, if Mr.Nice Guy (Jing) looks like Deng Wei, there's no way I would friendzone him. I would help him get rid of the two-faced witch and have him for myself 😆
There's a detailed video on Youtube that breaks it down [having problems linking it]0:47 - He is supposed to be…
Stupid thing to do though is comparing a rookie actor that only debuted 2 years ago (with no acting background whatsoever) to a veteran actress who has countless works under her belt since she debuted as a child actress and is a graduate of Beijing Film Academy. Zhang Wan Yi is also a BFA graduate. As for Tan Jian Ci, he's been in the industry for so long that it's a given he would slayed his role. Confidence makes everything easier.
IMHO, Deng Wei is doing good with the material he was given. His character might not be as enticing as Xiang Liu or intense/passionate like Cang Xuan but he managed to portray Tushan Jing/YSQ with a certain vulnerability and enough subtlety for me to root for his character. Unlike the novel version, he managed to make the character likeable and swoon-worthy. He's very good in emotional scenes imo.
Why are they always picking on him 😩 it’s like if he breathes wrong he’ll get a scolded 🤦🏻♀️
He just can't seem to catch a break pfft...rant/ I'm on Weibo and there has been some fights with LYX fans that turned ugly real quick this past week over the 'height difference/body proportions' between the two men...it was childish as fuck *facepalm* (it was hard for me since I love both)/end rant
As for H!6, Tan Jian Ci and Dylan Wang are regular members...of course they would be more comfortable. Plus, Dylan Wang is an extrovert while DW is more of an introvert person, therefore you can't expect him to be as chill and laid-back as WHD.
Lastly, me being a multi stan, I hate all those comparisons...they all have their strengths and shortcomings. And I got attracted to them for different reasons. Let's keep supporting him and just ignore the naysayers.
there is a rumor that KFC, Givenchy, Estee Lauder , PRADA are contacting him.whenever i heard the name PRADA,it…
Givenchy and Estee Lauder would be great tbh...Plus, I wouldn't be surprised for Givenchy since I've seen him wearing some of their stuff these days...As for Prada, I'm with you on this one, they're jinxed😭 New York Yankees MLB/LA Dodgers should endorse him too (he owns many caps/bucket hat of this brand)
Cheng Yi is now attached to this project... I have nothing against CY but I was so looking forward to the Zhang Linghe/Li Yi Tong 's collaboration *sigh*
before the drama airs they said jing's character design is worst, yes the other character has most fanbase, but…
"now he is getting bashed bcz he is not as much goodlooking as other guy ,can't able to sing like him." Not throwing shade to anyone here but as the adage said : 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'...as for me, Deng Wei is the most handsome out of the 4 MLs in LYF.
I'm all for the fast track package that WeTv/Tencent will propose on Monday but I also read in another thread (Nothing But You) that you can only watch it on your mobile/phone...pfft, I'm not paying 8$ to watch it on a small device ...will it be really not available on PC or TV?? *worried*
Yes, it has been quiet, and I love the new profile picture. Here is a picture of him on set yesterday:https://www.instagram.com/p/CvunM0ovf6j/?img_index=1
Thank you for the info (looking forward to it). I'll make sure to check him out in 'Destiny of the White Snake' after completing 'The Blood of Youth' ^^
I think his fans need to be realistic, he won't win any awards because this is an idol drama and he is dubbed.…
@eternalsummer
I'm being realistic here, he's pretty good/decent for a rookie actor. Sure, he's still very green and has a long way to go before being able to carry a drama but let's be honest here, which actor in today's industry can be considered award worthy?? Very few if you ask me. Acting-wise, only Luo Yunxi, Wu Lei and Hu Ge are in a league of their own imo. Liu Xueyi despite being underrated, is also very good. Those are the ones whose skills impressed me the most and made me look past their visuals (I didn't find LYX attractive before watching TTEOTM, but his charisma alone changed my mind, man is a scene stealer and tends to overshadow/outshine everyone else in a show... That's why DW's goody two shoes Xiao Lin stood no chance against LYX's charismatic byronic hero, Tantai Jin .(Deng Lun had the same fate in AOL)
Concerning Deng Wei, I'm not blind to his shortcomings ( only blinded by his drop dead gorgeous looks XD). Though I didn't watch all his works (saw snippets here and there), I can still feel some self-consciousness in his acting that hinders his progress (he may appear stiff/blank face in some scenes but nothing that can't be fix either...just have to work harder to get rid of it) but once he overcome that flaw, there's no reason for him not to succeed in this field. He's good in emotional scenes, he can convincingly cry (not an easy feat, even some more seasoned actors failed to deliver during those crucial scenes) and he also manages to elicit a rather positive reaction during those heart fluttering scenes (he's good at romancing)
Dubbing him is a disservice imo because his real voice is euphonious (it reminds me of Chen Zheyuan's voice: deep and raspy, definitely an asset) I don't speak chinese and know regulations are pretty stricts for costume dramas but voice is an important component that allow people to judge of someone's performance (voice, body movement and facial expression are essential skills to an actor) Another fav of mine (Dylan Wang) is mostly dubbed (except in 'Never Give Up', a modern drama) due to his thick sichuanese accent ...plus his voice is a bit nasal (even if I don't mind, I'm well aware that it is a problem for productions who are looking for flawless diction and perfect mandarin ) Still he's a top liuliang and it doesn't prevent him to have a successful career. Dylan's main strength is his sunny personality, he is feisty and friendly and it does show in his performances. He used to overact a lot in his earlier projects but he did improve greatly recently. I'm not asking for excellency tbh , as long as said performance doesn't ruin a drama, it doesn't bother me. I'm here for enjoyment not for some Oscar worthy performance.
Sorry for the long winded post, I wrote a bit too much but I really wanted to share my honest opinion about DW's acting skills. Having debuting only 2 years ago, his acting is still 'in progress phase" might I say...with time he will get better. Let's cut him some slack and keep on supporting him on his journey.

Glad you like it. Thanks for sharing those set of pictures, I like the casual look that he wears there... I fell in love with his acting in 'Destined'... Between "In Blossom' or 'What If' , do you happen to know which project will be airing first?
It used to be nice and clean here in the comments, but recently we had an influx of new watchers of the show and…
Agree. It has been spoiling/souring my watching experience. As for me, disliking a character is fine in my book but I draw a line if you start attacking actors over it. Worse some haven't even started the damn show that they bash the actor because of their past works or simply because they dislike him *rolleyes* There's some actors/actresses I don't like but you won't see me dissing them all over the net.
Just a question: Do you think you're doing your fav a favor here? Belittling and insulting another actor's skills to defend your ship/fav character? Tan Jian Ci, Yang Zi and Zhang Wan Yi would be sure oh so proud of you *sarcasm* I think it's time I stop hanging out with kids, it is damaging my sanity tbh *ughh*
I think Deng Wei is doing so great with his Jing's portrayal that some shippers from the other CP are going out…
Haters gonna hate...man is at the top of his game and they're just jealous of his newfound popularity and success. Who cares about their petty opinions? Meanwhile he's gaining more and more fans and will be in high demand in the future. LYF is definitely his breakthrough drama. He's doing fine and I love his portrayal of Tushan Jing/YSQ to bits. Wei Wei, Jiayou!!
