I was hesitating till now but finally dropped it at episode 11...I've read spoilers for episodes 13/14 and it has become way too makjangish for my taste. No regret.

That's why I've put on hold at episode 6 because I have no idea where production is going with the story. They gave most of Soonrok's scenes to Babi and we're left with only 2 episodes to wrap up the story?!? Nah, I don't feel good about it. Is there even enough time to introduce her endgame (Soonrok) or will they make her end up with Babi or will she end up alone? The latter scenario is unlikely or they wouldn't have shown us a picture of her wedding in first season...
OR, they signed up for a third season?!?

To sum up; In the webtoon, Babi was quite dense/oblivious and fickle...he betrayed Yumi's trust (she noticed he was attracted to that other girl) and they finally broke up...though they rekindled their relationship for a bit until Yumi decided to break up for good because she fell out of love... As for Woong, he still didn't get over her and wanted to patch things up however Yumi's stance never swayed. If production decided to end the series with season 2 and make Yoo Babi the endgame, I won't mind either since I love Jinyoung *grin*

I hate to sound like a broken record but they cast a Yoo Da Eun! Why cast Webtoon Babi's endgame if they intend for Yumi to end up with him ?!? Stir up things?

For Lee Jae Wook's sake, I hope it will be more like one of their "hit" than "miss" dramas...his last drama was already a big disappointment (not his fault, he was excellent as usual but that ending was just ugh)

I usually avoid Hong sis projects like the plague but there's Lee Jae Wook as the male lead hence I'm trapped. Please be good! *crossing fingers*

Not sure about this since they cast a Yoo Da Eun who is supposed to be Babi's endgame... I still think they will faithfully follow the webtoon and another actor will be cast/had been cast (???) to play her future husband and endgame (1 special episode or 6 episodes is enough to wrap up the story tbh)

Agree! I've been following him since "Mother"... He was playing the lousy boyfriend. Man is oozing charisma. He is the main reason why I decided to start this drama...

I think there will be some romance (all this tension can't possibly go to waste🔥)... it'll probably be a very subtle and slow-burn one but I think we can expect some (might also be wishful thinking from my part😅 ). This drama reminds me of another underrated gem "Just Between Lovers" (watch it everyone if you haven't yet, I highly recommend it), two wounded souls that found each other and become each other's support/comfort.
As for "My Ahjussi", I knew from the beginning there wouldn't be any romance between the leads...IU and Lee Sun Kyun clearly stated it in the Press Con? and it didn't even cross my mind to ship them romantically tbh.

All in all, I won't mind even if there's no love line in the end...I mean I won't riot xD A beautiful and healing journey is all I'm asking for❤️ I trust this writer, she excels in her craft. 'My Ahjussi is still one of my fav drama to this date, that's also the main reason why I started MLN...this and Son Seok Koo:p

Same here...I'll wait for next week episodes before taking a decision. (whether I drop it or not) I'm still hoping for a happy ending and think they're just toying with us for the moment (probably in denial😭)

Oh my, I agree...I hate it, it almost spoils my enjoyment tbh though I really love the show. I love their precious relationship, they're soulmates and I can't even fathom a future with them going their separate ways. We don't even know yet who the hell is this "Mr Kim" but I already loathe him with passion...I'd even prefer for Yi Jin to be dead rather than them not being end game. It would be such a waste imo.
I've been burnt before ("The Third Charm" *still mad to this day*) so I would be greatly disappointed with such boring ending.
BaekDo is my weekend happy pill. Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk rock their roles. They must end up together or I'd feel betrayed.

They wouldn't have cast Yoo Da Eun if they were going for that route... Babi/Da Eun is end game. Either Soonrok character will appear as a prolonged cameo (and they're hiding the actor's name) or they're going for a season 3. The latter scenario is more plausible.
