Lee Jae Wook sub-par? Unattractive? haha Thanks for the good joke. He earned this lead role, at such a young age, because even with supporting roles he's managed to outshine most of his peers in his past works ('Search WWW' was bearable thanks to his performance and his chemistry with Lee Da Hee+ I managed to finish 'Extraordinary You' yet again thanks to him+he was such a breath of fresh air in 'When the Weather Is Fine'). With Jang Dong Yoon (The Tale of Nokdu), he was the revelation of 2019.
As for his looks, I think he's good-looking. He's charismatic, has deep voice and excels in his craft...all those make him attractive imo. To each his own I guess.
I know I've said before but Im more sure about it now. I came here for my big little Jae-Wook and stayed for everything.…
I agree with you on Go Ara...she managed with her sincere acting in this drama to change my mind about her. Lee Jae Wook is probably her best partner to date and they compliment each other perfectly. I didn't watch last episode yet (only snippets) but I commend her performance during the break-up scene. It was hearbreaking when she was trying to process his sudden harsh words (the way she was asking him if it was because of that other girl was particularly poignant imo, I felt so much her pain at that moment) I think I wrote her off too quicky after 'Hwarang', I regret it. Paired to the right partner, she surprisingly shines. Not saying I will watch everything with her from now on but I won't avoid her projects (as in the past) if she's cast opposite one of my favs.
His parents probably threatened him into cutting ties or else they will hurt Ra Ra (new girl seems to be in cahoots…
Moreover I read somewhere that she might be his ex-girlfriend (hope it's not true!).... Am I the only one a little bit disappointed with this turn of events? I was hoping Ra Ra to be Jun's first love :(((( He's so young...it was so beautiful to think he crushed on her since their first meeting.
What the hell is happening at the preview of ep 14? Come on! we only have 3 episodes left. Why are they going…
His parents probably threatened him into cutting ties or else they will hurt Ra Ra (new girl seems to be in cahoots with Jun's mother grrr) . Usual noble idiocy crap! Why show, why? *disappointed*
LeeJongSuk was also offered another drama written by park hae young (my mister) and to be directed by shin woo…
Where did you read that piece of news? I'm interested^^ I rather he take this project for his comeback than the Hong sis one. I know he might choose the latter because their projects are more 'mainstream' and appeal to a larger audience....but I would love to see him in something new, something that showcases his acting chops, something more challenging.
SO.. ex girlfriend? finally we are getting Rara being jealous and fighting for her man?? YES PLEASE!! This would…
I can already predict that this new girl will probably be more favored by Jun's parents....I don't think she's his ex girlfriend, more like she's in a one-sided love with him. Jun is too smitten with our heroine to even consider that chick. Still, she probably will be a pain in the ass to watch but also a headache for our lovebirds. Get married already!
Same. 30 but 17 was my first drama of his, but I think I noticed him just not like this after watching 18 again.…
haha I know, he's killing it as Hong Dae Young/Go Woo Young! (Episode 15 left me heartbroken *literally bawled my eyes out* ) Noona is impressed XD As for 'Hotel Del Luna', I'll probably heed your advice, I don't think I can stand watching him in small/cameo roles anymore...boy is definitely lead material! Thanks :)
That actor was diagnosed with Corona ( covid positive ) and several other cast members . That's why the drama…
Sorry but I think you mistook Ahn Nae Sang with Kim Won Ae. It's Kim Won Ae who has been diagnosed with Covid-19 on August, 25th. This drama has been postponed because one of the staff/actor *don't remember* (that tested positive) has also been working on "To All The Guys Who Loved Me" (whose last episodes have been postponed as well due to Covid concern)
I really like this heart-warming drama. Lee Jae Wook is mesmerizing as Jun and he nails it as always and Go Ah Ra pleasantly surprised me as Ra Ra! Bubbly characters suit her the best imo. Rest of the cast is fantastic as well. I'm just wondering when her late father's secretary (Ahn Nae Sang) who conned her will make a reappearance?!? Hopefully very soon because when you cast someone like Ahn Nae Sang who is amazing in villain roles, you expect more screentime! I beg you drama, don't waste his presence! (he's not listed as a cameo but support role so what are you doing drama?)
How come I didn't notice him earlier?!? I watched 30 but 17 and he didn't catch my eye at that time (probably because I have my eyes only set on Yang Se Jong xD) Not only he's mighty fine (my shallow side haha) but he's an amazing actor...the way he conveys his emotions in 18 again is just WOW. I need more projects, I will probably watch his next drama with Lee Jin Wook (Sweet Home?) *though I don't like this actor* I might even start 'Hotel Del Luna' that I skipped because I hate Hong sis stories...*dilemma* Wish him the best for the future. He definitely deserves more projects and as a LEAD!
Now, Dae Young's two son-in-law materials are being jealous of him, and probably think Shi Ah likes Woo Young.…
Nah I'm confident she won't fall for the younger counter part of her dad. He seems to annoy her more than anything. Girl is quite picky neh? Lee Do Hyun is fine as hell! haha
it's about the character being in high school, particularly wearing a uniform, not because of the actor.
Browsed your 'completed' list and noticed you watched 'High School King of Savvy'....High Schooler boy who fills in for his older brother at work and falls in love with an employee. Double standards much?

Okay but seriously people are triggered for nothing nowadays! Plus, scene didn't even last long (before a time jump)...God forbids them to watch far more controversial stuff (Japan produced several series dealing with forbidden romance/love such as teacher/student relationship , it was even a popular trope/genre in the past)
That's a drop! I hate that they caved in to the pression. The age gap wasn't that bad to begin with. Ji Sung, for instance is 15 years older than his partner in 'Doctor John' (SBS drama as well) and they kissed twice (and it wasn't just a peck).
I blame some persons who still views Kim Yoo Jung as the little girl she was in 'Moon Embraces the Sun'. Flash news: She's an adult, a young lady who can even date a man in his 30s if she feels like it. As much I can accept/understand that in 'Mirror of the Witch' they couldn't deliver in the romance department (no kiss, just a hug) because of the actress age (she was underage and Yoon Shi Yoon was in his late 20s (almost 30)...here it's pure nonsense. And they had the gall to tease audience till the end with that long awaited kiss? Pleaseeeeeeee. As if the drama has anything else to boast apart from the cute chemistry. Annoying and fickle second female lead, hero's parents lacking total self-respect and unfunny jokes. Criticism and controversies surrounding this drama sure killed it. That's a shame.

Still I'm not convinced, I can't help but suspect him j/k
