Most 2ML's always play 2nd fiddle to the ML. If the ML the most popuar guy in school, he's the second most popular. if the SML is the 3rd prince, the ML is always the crown prince. 2ML are almost NEVER charcaterized as the better looking guy with better standings. Viewers usually just like the 2 ML cause he doesnt go around treating the FL like a doormat.
The ML has good presence as a leading man. The FL isn't horrible either. She's fun and cheerful. Her hair on the other hand...really an abomination IMO. The acting is lacking but works for the type of show this is. Plot is nonsensical but CGI is really good. Maybe I'm not in the mood for a cheesy drama like this now so I'll skip. Better than I expected though.

I'm not really familiar with jdrama networks but your comment prompted me to see what other dramas MBS came up with. And you were right. All the jdramas I watched and thought "woah they're already doing this?" and "this is so absurd" were their work lol.
Arsenal Militray Academy is also super hyped but not as good as people make it out to be. Literally just another idol drama. Its literally just Hana Kimi/You're Beautiful in the Republican era.

Honestly I can understand why you think this after watching all out of love. That drama was straight trash. The perfect example of a melodrama gone wrong. I still think Melos can be great even with the Fl suffering though. I guess different things for different people. Being happy doesn’t equal good and I have seen many bad romcoms that are plenty happy and fluffy.
