Yupp, you literally listed most of my fav c-dramas! As a wuxia fan, I would also recommend Mysterious Lotus Casebook. Whether story or action, its one of the best for me. If not anything else, watch it for Cheng Yi's acting!

I watched first part when it was releasing, I remember some things but I guess I forgot a lot. Now I don't have time for a rewatch. Sad lyf!

There are not so many no. of watchers for many already aired c-dramas as there are for this one on MDL! Can MDL send a kind of petition to this drama-maker to release this one Netflix or Amazon Prime Video or Hotstar! Anywhere is fine literally! I know they won't earn much profit if it doesn't air in China, but if there are absolutely zero chances of airing this in China in future, atleast release it globally!

So there is no Cheng Yi drama in 2024 right? I am so sad!

This time I won't say I want this to air soon, I just hope this is as good as I am hoping it too be. I love both main leads & Lusi is my favourite Chinese actress, so I have high expectations.

So I watched this drama till ep 12 some time ago. But after coming here & reading so many negative comments I don't know if I wanna continue. Does anybody know if completing this one is necessary to fully understand other two parts of the series?

I was just going through comments of all fox-spirit-matchmaker series on MDL and I couldn't understand one thing. I read somewhere that Dongfang Huai Zhu from Love in Pavilion is leader of Dongfang Family and sister of Dongfang Qin Lan, Yuechu's mother. It is mentioned in this drama that Jin Rengfeng killed previous master of Divine Flame Villa, so is that previous master Dongfang Huai Zhu? And Wangquan manor not involved in anything related to Dongfang family? Like why did they not protect Dongfang Qin Lan and Yuechu? Considering two families are in laws how is wangquan family out of picture when Yuechu is the last remaining member of Dongfang Family? I may be wrong about everything, but can someone please correct me & clear this confusion? Also who is Dongfang Luo? I have so many questions!

When is this coming out?

I just rewatched MLC. First time I watched it, my focus was distributed between subtitles and the show. This time I paid more attention to acting and really, Cheng Yi is such a fine actor. With all those moods and microexpressions, I became an even bigger fan of MLC and Cheng Yi. I am so excited for this drama and Hero Legends!

I came here after watching Blossoms in Adversity. Really loved that show.

I don't even hate villains as much as I hate Xiao Zi Jin, such a stupid character with no character development. :/
