IF he does that will be a major social commentary on the patriarchal dinosaurs, workforce, household politics…
WOW, that’s something I haven’t thought about before, now I’m really looking forward to seeing how things will turn out for Mr. Kim :)

It was such a lovely journey 💕! I really enjoyed watching it.
It did feel like they had to wrap things up a bit too quickly in the last four episodes, but the ending was beautiful — I loved it!

Kim Nak Su has his own perspective and a clear idea of what success means. His only problem is that he keeps trying to force his opinions and beliefs on others, whether it’s his family or his coworkers.
I’m really excited to see how the story develops and if he’ll change that behavior.

All this time I've been cursing Eunsoo's husband for being a trash, turns out Lee Gyeong's family is so much worse
Can’t agree more 😆

I guess the key to good execution is acting and chemistry. On paper, many scenes of this drama look generic, but…
💯

I like the conspiracy plot so far, and the drama still has my attention.
But after the story shifted to the village, it suddenly brought in a bunch of goofy events and comedic characters that really kill the vibe.
In my opinion, throwing in comedy this randomly just doesn’t fit the essence of the story.

Person Suda Masaki
Seriously! Why isn’t up yet?!? It’s so weird that it’s only Masaki drama that isn’t up yet.
I’m wondering that too :'

Su A is, after all, just a teenager — easy to fool no matter how smart she is. She doesn’t know that her mother is the one dealing drugs; all she knows is that her mom is struggling to earn enough money for her dad’s treatment. So, in her mind, selling a little of those candies— not knowing they were actually drugs — for a short time seemed like an easy way to make good money and help her mom.

Her husband’s illness opened her eyes to the true nature of the people around her — starting with her husband and her so-called friend. Her friend’s character isn’t pointless at all; she’s deeply obsessed with Eun-soo’s family. As we saw in episode 9, the moment Eun-soo finally stood her ground and said, “This is a family matter,” that’s when she completely lost it. No one can predict what she’ll do in the next two episodes.

As for the part where her daughter ends up selling drugs — I think the writers were trying to deliver a clear message: “Every wrong action comes back to its owner, multiplied.” Eun-soo, who started dealing drugs to pay for her husband’s treatment and her daughter’s education, ends up discovering that her own daughter is involved in selling the very same packets she made with her own hands. It’s like a dealer whose son dies from an overdose — the tragedy circles back. Eun-soo might have gained temporary money, but her life and her family’s were destroyed by the same drugs she thought would save them.

I’m really enjoying this drama! I went in with high expectations, and it didn’t disappoint!

Yong Rye is such a giving person — she grew up in an environment that forced her to care for others without expecting anything in return. She always puts others before herself, even in the smallest moments, and her happiness comes from seeing the people she loves being happy and doing well. The moment she tried to give up her love for Jae Pil just for Jung He is a perfect example of that.
But that’s not always a good thing — as the story went on, Yong Rye learned to value herself more and to hold on to the things she loves.

Jung He, on the other hand, has a selfish side. Even though she tried to be a better person after becoming friends with Yong Rye, her harsh past and childhood always influenced her behavior. She grew up with thoughts like, “Why do they have what I don’t?” or “I deserve this more because I’m better.” That made her develop a quiet jealousy toward Yong Rye, even without realizing it. She could’ve gone back to Yong Rye after finding out Sang Shik was no longer looking for her, but instead, she chose the wealthy life — not out of greed, but because her poor past made her crave a sense of worth and stability. As the story progressed, Jung He also learned that love doesn’t need conditions. She achieved her dream, found her love, and most importantly, learned to genuinely wish others well.

Even though the two friends ended up in an unwanted love triangle, the ending was beautiful — they both grew from each other. Yong Rye learned to love herself a little more, and Jung He learned to love others selflessly.

I really enjoyed watching it.
