Absolutely Beautiful…I’m literally in tears…my heart is so , so full 😭🥰☺️ I remember loving the…
I'm watching it now, and am on EP2 and you can already see the chemistry between Yutaka and Minoru. I was so happy that Minorus' dad was also rooting for the both of them! And Tane just seems to bring both of them together.
Just started EP1 - I'm a sucker for these types of shows. But I really enjoyed it. I feel very bad for what Yutaka has gone through growing up. Can't be easy! On top of being an introvert (at least, that is what it seems like) it looks like he's been traumatized by his brother. The little kid Tane is absolutely adorable! To him, Yutaka is like a big brother. I'm super happy that Yutaka decided to stay and have dinner with them. and Minoru so damn cute! He asks Yutaka to come - only because Tane enjoys his company and it makes him happy... but I hazard a guess that it also makes Minoru happy to see him and to see Yutaka slowly breaking out of his shell - so heartwarming!
EDIT: Not father, but brother. Yikes! Complicated family background.
OMG! That was the funniest non-BL BL drama I've ever watched! Both actors did an excellent job in it, super funny! I'd say the funniest moment was the last few minutes of EP14 and the start of EP15.
I have a question. How can someone who is born deaf know how to read and write
I've worked with people who are unable to speak, but they can read and write - that's not uncommon. But at first, I didn't quite understand it as well. Great question to ask!
They learn to read and write the same way anyone learns language, by being taught, but instead of relying on sound, everything is built on visual language and visual teaching methods.
But if you think about it, reading & writing don’t actually require hearing. But their first language would be sign language. Think of how you learned to understand CAT. They will learn the same way.
- Show a picture of a cat - Use the sign for “cat” - Show the written word: cat
Deaf kids rely on different strategies. While hearing children lean heavily on sound, deaf children often lean on visual patterns, sign language, and meaning.
Also today, there is a lot of technology to help them and it's getting better and better every day.
Amazing drama! Finished EP1 and am on EP2. Enjoyed EP1 and learning the background of the characters and how they go to where they are in EP2. EP1 was definitely sad and EP2 has it's moments, but this is well done and am really enjoying it. 🎸🎶
When this drama was airing, I saw a lot of people raving about it but I didn't start watching immediately because…
The one thing I learned while reading a lot of science fiction is that sometimes, no matter how much you try to change the past the future is set in stone and the universe will do what it needs to to make sure of that. 😞
Just started to watch this after seeing clips on TT, only at the 1st EP and I'm gonna cry! But I love a good family drama and this one fits the bill perfectly. Convinced my partner to watch this with me. 😀
So darn funny! I mean who doesn’t like zombie shows but love the premise of this one. A nine-to-fiver aka salary man living his best life right in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. What's not to love?
Watched this the other day with my partner - what an amazing movie! Absolutely loved it! Both main characters played their part so well. Highly recommend it!!!
Started watching this because of a clip I saw on TT... but the TT clip seems to be a totally different show! LOL! So I was totally confused when I started watching this... but I'll keep going, it's not multiple-seasons so I'm not investing weeks and weeks. :)
Natsu's father, is an ass. Doesn't seem to have any compassion. I get why Natsu wanted to meet him, to introduce him to his granddaughter - but it doesn't look like he even cares.
What's up with Tsuno? It seems he was in love with Mizuki but it was never reciprocated; however he'd gotten very attached to Umi. It felt like he was trying to sabotage Natsu... but why does Natsu feel he needs to tell Tsumo everything? They aren't really close friends.
In EP10 where he tells Umi to tell his father that she doesn't want to transfer. Then Natsu sends him a text, and once again Tsumo tries to shoot him down.
I also feel bad for Umi, she's getting used by Tsumo.
And poor Natsu... an introvert at heart, but he doesn't seem to be able to stand up for himself.
I still don't quite understand why Yayoi broke up? I thought she loved Natsu, and Umi... but some conflict there? Perhaps with her having had an earlier abortion? I may need to watch that episode again because I missed something.
I'm on EP10, two more episodes to go, so lets see what happens with Yayoi, Natsu and Umi. I thought they made a great family.
But is definitely a sad drama... needed a box of tissues.
I really tried with this drama. I gave it my best sleepy-eyed effort, but this drama had me dozing off every ten…
Have to agree with your review, Umi is absolutely adorable! And she was much smarter for a child her age. She really set the pacing, IMO.
Mizuki - Yes, very selfish of her to make the choice she had, and I wonder why she did it. Was there some other reason? But we'll never know.
Slice of Life - I LOVE these types of dramas; I'm a writer, and most of the stories that I write are slice of life. Just something about these types of stories, being rooted in our daily life brings a lot of joy (and sometimes heartache & sadness).
Just started watching this.. only two episodes in and I'm crying! Such a great family drama, but so sad. I hope we learn more about why she left him... but even if we don't I'm still really enjoying this drama.
