Yeah, Ming is toxic and full of red flags, but Sol showed his true colors in this episode.
I'm not saying Sol isn't without flaws, what I'm saying is Ming is a worse person. Also people are mad at Sol for the whole "boyfriend" thing, they did a music vid together where they played BFs. BL community has fans that FREAK OUT when their ships are not seemingly dating in real life so you think they'd appreciate fanservice. Its hypocritical for some people to judge Sol so harshly but NOT Ming and we know why, because they have their ship and make excuses for it.
I like that the people who crap on Sol also love Ming who's way more toxic. It's one of those, your boos mean nothing I've seen what makes you cheer, things.
The age gap and character switch was unnecessary and for me unwanted. I hate seeing two characters grow close only to have them switch them to someone else at the end, I hated the Teddy Miracle show and Pastsenger for this exact reason. DON'T BAIT AND SWITCH with the actors!
I didn't find this boring or depressing. I found it engrossing and moving, and there were so many moments of levity…
Well its depressing to me because nothing really goes anywhere, it just seemed i dunno, hopeless? I'm all for angst, but with a satisfying ending that concludes things, I suppose I hate open-ended or ambiguous "interpret your own endings" kind of stuff.

Vampires have fangs, come on the prosthetics that look real are super cheap and easy to use. Until I see fangs, the ability to fly, turn into mist or mind control, I think these people aren't real vampires and just loons that think they are vampires. Be, I dunno, VAMPIRIC. I like the show but why'd they get vampire lore all wrong?

Why does realism always have to be boring and depressing? You know, many GOOD things have happened in my life, its not all angsty thoughts that lead nowhere. I hate unrequited love too, because its dull.

I haven't read the novel because usually the Thai BL based on novels don't have English translations. Maybe this one does but I haven't actively looked for one, thanks for the explanation :)
