I think it's such a flex for Liu Yu Ning to achieve the three heat indexes from the three platforms for all three of his male lead roles AND having only debuted as an actor for 7 years like I literally have no words πππ
it's so funny how weibo fans beef about whether BL or WXY is the main lead of the show and smearing the other…
I find it extremely silly too! Honestly if I was them and being the close friends they are, I would just laugh at the comments together.
I know billing is important but the amount of issues around it spoils a lot of things, I can already see a lot of pairings never happening because of the billing issue (I can only dream).
Either way regardless, super excited for this with both BL and WXY. Finally a drama where WXY's character gets BL's character!
Have you read this one? It has some hidden details in the novel (not shown in the drama) : https://kisskh.at/discussions/ning-an-ru-meng/121135-jiang-xue-ning-xie-wei-zhang-zhe-love-lines-explained-in-the-novel-spoilers
I think I may have briefly seen this a while back but will probably read again, thanks!
I just happen to be watching Always on the Move (2024), so I would recommend that based on your desire for "focused…
I have been seeing always on the move around so will definitely check it out. Also perfectly fine with them being young adults, I said those themes but it doesn't have to be all of them as I really just wanted some more realistic and thought evoking dramas about life.
I loved Northward so much that I'm finally going to start watching some more domestically renowned dramas focused on the life, family and youth themes.
Going to be starting Six Sisters soon. If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know and I'll add to my list :)
After reading the first couple of chapters, I ended up reading this story nonstop for the past week whenever i…
So true because I also binged it like crazy when I first started it! I'm glad you are enjoying it, I love that it's a long novel too (or at least to me) so I can enjoy it for a long time.
I love the points you made and completely agree, hoping they do justice to it in the drama.
I have been seeing some opinions (not on here, other platforms) about people saying they don't like Resident Playbook (RP) as much as Hospital Playlist (HP) because of how different it is but I never came into this thinking it would be the same anyway..?
I absolutely loved HP and I definitely started RP because of my love for it. I know HP focused a lot on the friendship, the comedic moments and each character just seemed exceptional in terms of doing their job well (plus the romance was amazing) but they were all experienced doctors and were friends for many many years.
It's nice to see this side where they are still trying to get comfortable with each other despite their differing personalities and often make many many mistakes. I love that the characters are flawed, it makes them feel relatable and deeply human.
Just like everyone else I have been loving this so far!
Something I really don't like is when in the novels the ML possessiveness reaches even his kids, I mean, I don't…
At first I was also a bit concerned about the exact comments you made, thinking it's actually quite childish if anything. You would think with how much he loves Ye Li, he would definitely love their kids even more.
I'm currently at chapter 272 now and I can definitely say it gets better, it's just playful bickering between Xuiyao and Xiao Bao at this point and has actually become quite adorable. They both go around fighting for Ye Li's attention but still display cute father and son moments, especially when they head back to Da Chu. I'm sure it'll probably get better as Xiao Bao keeps growing.
I honestly recommend you keep going ahead with it but if you've been reading it non-stop, take a little break and then come back. The novel will not be going anywhere and the drama hasn't even started filming, plus the novel is quite long too. I only read it before I go to bed as I don't get much time in the day.

Was hoping Bai Lu could take a long break after but it might only be 3 months (we shall see).
Also just curious, is Xiang Shan another popular location for costume dramas (I only know Hengdian)?
(Caution it does have spoilers)

Hopeful since Perfect Match had one recently and Yu Zheng might decide to do one for this too.
