I actually agree with a lot of what you’re saying. The way WQFG’s emotions were portrayed made the “love…
He gave Rumu his sword meridian, something he spent 20+ years of his life to cultivate. He helped Fan Yunfei with the water orb, using a massive chunk of his life energy. He spent even more life span to repel the storm from the Myriad Blight Formation. As for the 10 year life span he gave to QT, Fugui even said at one time: he would do it for any one.

He cried for Rumu because he's closer to Rumu than he is to Qingtong. Also he didn't have to hide it from Rumu, because what he killed wasn't Rumu.
Since you're drawing the sequence outside the drama to real life, then I shall pull back as well. If you didn't find that pavilion sequence to have cutting and editing issues, then you've had the wool pulled over your eyes successfully. Fugui had a bunch of short cuts of the same scene from different angles, some were actually the same shot reused. Qingtong had 95% of the screentime, of course she'd draw sympathy.
Fugui had plenty of expression, and he conveyed them fine through his acting. Acting is not merely through facial expressions and speed, but minute body language as well. But it's fine if you don't perceive them, we all experience the world differently.

Did you understand the part where he was pretending to be taken over by "Hatred" so that he could fool the Black Fox? And that's why he "mercilessly killed QT"? He has to put on an act to make it believable, it's great that he did it so well that half the audience is fooled. 😅 I don't think QT even loves him, at least not romantically like people likes to think. She puts him on a pedestal. She understood what he was trying to do, defeat the Black Fox Empress, and to do that he needs the tree seed inside her, and she gave it.
I know many people would disagree but I actually love the writing of this one. I love how the writer maintains…
Don't give the writer / producer any credit in this, if he had his way, the character of Fugui would be completely OOC (out of character). CY fought for the integrity of the character from the original source IP, and it came at a cost.
They really said: "Let's keep the leads apart for half of the drama, because who cares about them anyway?"...…
It feels like they used CY and his traffic power to drive the drama and promote it, and once they were done with the real Wangquan arc, they were free to go wild with their FSMM fanfiction that nobody asked for. 🫠🫠
If Qingtong sees QC as her only family, then where does that leave Fugui?? 😂😂 I don't want any CP between…
It's the distrust that Fugui can't help, it grates at me. Plus, she doesn't see her potential bf / partner as part of her family? 😭 It's too sad for Fugui, and if he's fine with that, that makes it even worse! 😭😭
I'm in the minority once again. I like QT's character and think her decisions make sense 🤣 I saw many people…
If Qingtong sees QC as her only family, then where does that leave Fugui?? 😂😂 I don't want any CP between QT and Fugui anymore because there will always be QC closer to her.
I'm waiting patiently for blond Fugui with umbrella!!! I've been waiting for over a year since the reuters daipai leak!! 😭😭 Where is he??~!! Let him out~!!
As for the 10 year life span he gave to QT, Fugui even said at one time: he would do it for any one.
Qingtong kept saying she'd go with Fugui on a journey to see the world together, but obviously she stayed with Qingcheng.
The story long passed being about just Fugui and Qingtong. It took a hard 90 degree turn around the 20s.
