So he's holding a script, that's what a decent actor should be doing. Scripts can change up to the last minute, during filming, or long after the filming is done. What happened here is a rehearsal shot made it into the editing folder, the editor or QC missed it and it got comped into the final. How do I know it's a rehearsal shot? Because he was holding a sword in the scenes before and after.
