This show is a breath of fresh air. Natural, charming, rustic, slice of life, well-detailed and amiably acted.

The dialogue is too quiet while the soundtrack is louder, and subs have recently became somewhat lazy and gappy.

In Key Love they actually get together at the end, although initially they were not the main couple.

I like this for all its faults. Honestly, I don't know whether its the acting or the mystery that hangs around the characters, but I am somehow invested in their stories. It is objectively not very good but I cannot help waiting for the next episode.

It seems like Y-Destiny tradition is that the first intriguing chapter of each couple turns out to be a slow-burning let down for the second one. They always build up loads of promising ideas and pretences which they eventually abandon.

I don't mind COVID-related shows, or at least I don't in Pinoy BLs, because they generally come up with innovative ideas and ingenious twists. Gameboys was a heartwarming and emotionally powerhouse about two soul mates with personal and family problems trying to connect while separated from each other physically. Hello Strangers was similar, but it was about how a distance professional co-operation transforms into something else. Another emotional rollercoaster: Quaranthings on the contrary, two strangers locked up together starting to develop fellings for each other. Boys' Lockdown was a hectic farce about two playful guys trying to date by tricking out authorities and restrictions. Ben x Jim was less-COVID related but the subject was well-adjusted to the complex sould-searching of its leads. Better Days was a heartwarming coming-of-age story of two childhood friends developing feelings to each other despite a difference in their power-relations. This one has an interesting premise as well: how a bungled attempt at hook up could lead to something more substantial, while being locked up together. I am in.

And what is the reason? Did they tell why?

I am possibly the only one here but I have found this slapstick in the latest episode extremely tiresome and unnecessarily vociferous.

I am glad that you brought this difference of gay infidelity up. I have already hinted at this previously but you have elaborated it in far more detail.

I have always found it hilarious how a substantial number of viewers - and usually straight women - condemn BL for not having proper LGBT representation, and when they get one in a realistic format, like here, with cheating or the possibility of cheating, they are having instant meltdown. The same melodramatic head over heels action was under the comment section of Friend Zone, when Dr Sam double-crossed Earth with Stud. They were all hissing and booing, insisting that should not have been forgiven, and that any relationship should end there.

As a gay man myself too, I am not saying every gay person wishes for open relationships or take their other half's straying just as a throwaway, but most of them certainly don't regard infidelity as an irreversible act of "treason" or "betrayal", that causes damages impossible to recover from. This is literally a very hetero-normative, straight female take at the issue, and it shows how little they know the gay scene and LGBT community, which they allegedly so much would like to see represented (in theory). Like you said, gay couples are not tied by societal restraints and norms, and they know love and sexual desire could be so different and far from each other, like heaven and earth - at least in case of guys. Of course, if the other one is a sexual predator willing to breed the entire village, that is a completely different matter. But not being able to resist the occasional carnal temptation, in particular when the relationship is in a somewhat rocky state, does not necessarily mean the end of love.

This was a surprisingly celeverly written and witty entrée with careful characterizations and refreshingly natural leading performances as well as a very catchy music score.

I had some concerns about the replacement of a major factor in the creative crew (director and screenwriter), but if that goes on like this - knock on wood - then IPYTM very much seems to bring in the standard of its predecessor.

In my opinion, although slightly different from ITSAY, because it is less slow, less visually narrated and less strongly character-driven, and more plot-packed, more verbal, and faster-paced, they are on par so far to me.

The acting is still lavish, the script is still very good and plausible, the directing is subtle, nuanced and sensual, the visual elements of Bangkok and the visual world are as illusory as they were in Phuket. And the cinematography is excellent too, visually it is stunning. In my humble opinion, this threatens to be another masterpiece.

So in one moment Migs is an agressive, homophobic bully and a few minutes later he magically transforms into an understanding bro who is "still learning". Wtf? Markie should have stood up to himself long ago against this total jackass. "I am proud of both of you" - well, there is nothing to be proud of about Migs.
