At first I was like ... Koshiba Fuka ... not the best actress. when the plot is FL talking to inanimate object, i was like ... cringe.
but rather than showing too much on that, they are showing the growth of Mokomi, from a struggling shut it with social anxieties to someone who makes a first move on her love life and career. But her family gives a lot of colours to the drama. From his normal looking big bro, to her controlling mom, her timid dad and her out of nowhere grandpa. Each of them have their own problems. But instead of executing the plot on heavy side, they add some comedic moment to make it more light hearted. I didnt think I will actually like this drama 7.5/10
This is actually not bad. I thought this will focus on problematic students. But the plot goes all around from students, teachers, parents all around. One thing I really hate is how high school students make a big mistake, destroying people lives yet instead of getting real punishment, they just got light reprimand. It always like that in Jdrama. I mean children shouldn't be accountable for their mistake, well maybe that is true for smol kids but not teenagers. Yamada Yuki being funny was the best thing in this drama. LOL. Overall it was nice watch. 6.5/10
At first this looks like it gonna be a good drama. But of course the ML and FL gonna fall for each other in a very generic boring way. It was so boring after ep3 that I keep fast forward those boring scenes. Other than FL is from Edo, nothing really interesting coming out of them.
The 2nd couples have far more interesting character development. Well they are more interesting characters to begin with. Though I kinda guess they gonna end up together
3rd couples is same as lead couples but their ending is more acceptable. Too bad there is nothing really going on between them.
Okay. I must say this sequel is actually much more better than the original. Like the dynamic between Oshii, Yokode, Kurumi and Shokouchi are very entertaining. Oshii and Yokode comedic timing is so funny. And I remember I hate they use dotei trope excessively in season 1 but but this sequel, they just mentioned it one or twice. 7.5/10
Okay. I never watch the original. Looking at the rating, it is quite high for Jdrama. I was expecting this to be good but ... it was very mid
ML is pathetic as hell. And going back to change the future is very one sided to begin with. Like what is the point of going back to change your future and then get teleported to the changed future but with no memory of what happen between point A and point B. All you have is your own original memory like u are replacing yourself in world B without any memory of yourself from world B. OF COURSE YOU CANT CHANGE ANYTHING about yourself and only clinging to the old memory that you only have. 6/10
They created KSBC as 1st respondent but ... I can't at how slow they were with all their missions. Like ... what a useless Unit. Probably can avoid all the casualties if they are competent but then again, there wont be enough plot I guess. Also talking about plot, the grieving feel very half hearted in the entire drama like other than Fushimi's grudge, the rest of them feels like the feeling is just there. I dont have problem with their incompetency being the plot. Rather I found it kinda fresh but I feel they are too focus on writing Fushimi's character that the rest of the characters are kinda predictable though the ending got me intrigued. 6.5/10
So ... the 3B guys are total loser in the 1st half and then get changed by FL one by one. Kinda like classic Jdrama trope from 2000s. This was average at best. Can be boring at time. 5/10
This drama is very generic. I dunno about the original but this adaptation is giving me that. It just a simple story of a career woman who get pregnant unexpectedly and trying to prove that the kid will not hinder her work. Very basic plot. and FL can't act
Also about the character Motoya .... he is a redflag no matter how they tried to make him greenflag as possible. 5.5/10
This drama can be really good if not for Hashimoto Kanna subpar acting. Plotwise, this is kinda predictable. A story of 3 teenagers using each other. All 3 of them are equally psychotic and they can truly commit murder without much guilty conscious. Do they really doing it to protect each other though? I highly doubt. 7/10
Mone and her usual naive and annoying character. Japan really like to typecast their actressess. FL is naive, annoying and cringe. Just like most romance Jdrama. She is very insufferable to watch. In reality this type of character get fire in day 1. I know drama is selling you fantasy but ... if the premise is mostly about reality, I would like my drama to be more logic and real. The romance is dry as usual. The cold 2nd female lead (ML's sister) is the centre of this drama. But they turn her into this predictable character toward the end. Also western people on Viki really should stop nagging about the age gap trope. Age gap is nothing weird in Asian culture. Not like the 2nd FL is 18. lol. 6/10
A very solid family drama. Sometimes we lost sight of what matter most for our family thinking providing money is enough but in reality, family bonding is what make you a family. 8/10
Okay at first I was like ... detective drama? eccentric ML? then he turns out to be Mangaka with supernatural power called "heaven's door". lol. Rather than a detective works it just he is using his skill to solve mysterious phenomenon around him which is very interesting. He editor is the usual annoying young female character. It is only 3 eps. They could have better execution I think but this was a delight surprise. 7.5/10
This drama is basically about a naive woman from flower arrangement family turns into politician. Basically turns into national diet member, doing the usual "I want to help everyone" speech. She was asked for help by a foreign little girl to help her father that was arrested. She then get into deeper scandal against her political faction figure. The drama is very positive but ... those sunshine and rainbow wont work in real life which quite turn off IMHO. 5.5/10
Yet another Tanpatsu about war time. This time about a real girl name Akiko who loves playing Piano during war time and dies. More like docu-drama of her as they then showing people playing the piano she was once using in the academy. It was ok I guess. I dont think she made any impact in real life. 5/10
