Okay. I know she has been in comma for 25 years and has mental of 10 y.o but with body of 35 y.o, but her childlike attitude 3/4 of the eps are very annoying. Like she might be mentally 10 y.o but her brain capacity is 35 y.o. It did shows she was able to grow up mentally but do they really need to take most of the eps?
The drama is not bad but just annoying. The sister is no better. The dad and mother as well. And they all have predictable ending. Also what with the ending of her sister and her ex-bf ex-gf? They will become bestie? for what?
Reading the comments .... what do you guys mean nothing happened in the show? Seems like people are more concerning with the lack of kisses and skinship as well as the dead fish kiss than the real plot like ... they are dealing with a lot of issues that outed gay teenager in Asia faces in daily basis. Im guessing unless the BL is full of rainbow and sunshine than it wont be rated as good BL.
The lead combo is the usual Nerdy brain x Muscle head. In terms of personality, nothing new. Very generic. They are in police academy. Their instructors is the combo of lenient X strict, yet another generic setup. At first, I was thinking this going to be a very generic episodic drama where each ep is just those 2 leads breaking rules trying to solve crimes by themselves but they didnt. Only the first 2 eps are like that. Then we get each lead get 1 dedicated ep for them and then come the serial plot of the serial Shovel murder case. The drama has a twist which not so obvious. So In the end, I was enjoying this more than I thought I will. 7/10
So basically ML used FL for his revenge by hypnotized him and then The FL who always live in false Identity developed this crush on him even though he was using her without her consent. Then her true identity merged while she was in as Miss Panda but still sympathized with him? is this some kind of Stockholm syndrome ish? Let say her false Identity Ren is the usual damsel in distress Jdrama protagonist. But I really dunno how her true Identity Riko can be good at martial art. She has been dormant since middle school. And the ending? let her live in false identity and let both erase memory of each other. how cliche. 6.5/10
I have watched a lot of slapstick gag comedy Jdrama. Mostly those 24min midnight drama. Some of them are good. Some are just pure dud. This drama is only 12min, half of it. But ... I didnt find it funny at all. The FL is the only one with common sense in the company. The father which is the other main character is very eccentric character. Doing all the gags. Good thing it was short because I didnt enjoy any of the ep. 4/10
She got the terror bulletin when a delivery guy transfer his contract to her without her consent. of course it turns out nobody give consent to this thing knowingly at first except for fews.
This drama is full of roller coaster plots but nothing really solve the terror bulletin. It was FL ancestor who gave birth to this curse. It was said it is the sin of her past but she did nothing to break the curse other than using the power as it is.
Her childhood friend is jealous of her. She basically wanted to destroy FL. But FL is being the usual Jdrama goody 2 shoes FL still not hating her BFF. Her BF was having an affair with her BFF. then he crossed the line accidentally killing the BFF.
Everything is cursed and the ending ... I kinda knew he is fishy.
So why this get a very low score? this is actually more exciting than most similar Jdrama out there. In term of realism of terrorism, shooting, blood and explosion. I do was wondering if this drama is based on Manga but doesnt seem so. The AN agency which is a secret organization hired to do cleanup job and infiltration, use by Japanese politician is the centre of this drama. The ML is an agent who do his job, a cold person but deep down still human. Then he was assigned a newbie to train. The newbie being new still very human and couldnt control his emotion Then there is senior agent send to Hong Kong to spy. An Ex agent hired by the Chinese to bomb the site All agents are abandoned by their parents since young. When they become an agent, a detonator is planted in their body in case the compromise the organization I do think 6 eps is short but not for the main plot. It just enough to conclude the main plot but the side plots are left unfinished.
Like what is the really back story of AN communication? What happened to the Spy agent? What happened to the chinese? Also the girl? who she truly is? We get all the surface not no details.
I really want to like this .... I do but ... some times I found it boring and draggy. The concept of time traveling is not new. And when u mess with the past, you mess with the future. The male protagonist not only change future once but twice. And he conveniently return to the point after his first return. The twist is the murder was carried out by 10 y.o kid and the accomplice is someone who is totally at the background. But the predictability of everything else is a bit let down. 6.5/10

The drama then follow a series of cases (3 cases if not mistaken) which are related to him. During the 1st case, it was reveal his past as a teenage killer as his defendant is the sister of the little girl he killed before. the 2nd defendant was his corrector officer and his last defendant was his mother.
During the trials, he get a lot of tribulation having a past as killer, being judge left and right by public and a prosecutor who keeps him on his nose.
This drama has a theme, "Do people who committed crime in the past should be forgiven?" Do they deserve a 2nd chance in life? should they be discriminated? Is exposing the past is justice?
Seriously this drama makes you think. Of course I personally think people deserved a second change after paying for their crime. Discriminate them after that is wrong because if society keeps judging a person for his past, then he wont be able to break the cycle of his wrongdoing". I like Becky character because she was that person who judged the ML at first but slowly trusting him after working with him to the point she is arguing with others for slandering the lawyer for his past. 8/10

During her pursue, she was breaking media etiquette by following police and go to the crime scene, taking photos. Although it was her senior suggestion at first, she quickly follow her seniors and bosses tricky orders after convincing herself this is the only way for the truth to come out. Blinded by her personal feeling as her sister committed suicide after being bullied, she started to pursue a group of students that was rumoured to bully the victim, making assumption without verifying further the story with other media to the point the culprit is another set of group. She was misled by tiny lie. But of course, the story does not ends here as the real culprit is someone else who I had clocked since ep1. LOL.
Despite the generic-ness of this drama, I still like it. The only thing I found meh is the FL acting. Araki's acting is so meh and 1 note. 7/10
The title is the name of the protagonist, the female lead. She is a forensic doctor. Her dad is a policeman and so does her bf (later husband). Despite looking like a detective drama, this drama is more of family drama. They never explicitly shows how the forensic surgery is done. More on depicting some actions with words. Even the detective cases are mostly non criminal mystery.
This drama is focusing more on Asagao interaction with her family, her dad, her grandfather and her BF. With her childhood friends and work colleagues. first half is this setting while 2nd half her bf is now her husband and they have daughter together. She has trauma where her mother was missing during Kohaku Tsunami. And her father keeps searching for her mother's remain. This is a story of finding closure, moving forward and expecting the unexpected. This is the kind of writing which I think most Jdrama these days are lacking.
I kinda have love hate relationship with this drama.
Pro - The drama is dealing with how to deal with patients behaviour rather than their sickness unlike any other medical drama. The protagonist, Dr. Mano is a daughter or small village doctor and is now working as one of the doctor in a hospital in Tokyo. Aside from have to deal with difficult patients, she is also pressured by her sister to inherit his father clinic and take care of her dementia mother. So most of the time we get to see her trying to overcome her internal crisis
Con - They never really address the elephant in the room. The hospital management, the general secretary is not protecting their doctors at all. Instead they are focusing on deflecting all the problems are cause by the doctors, not patients. Until the end, even after he get fired the general secretary never admit his wrong doing and insisted he was doing a right thing, and the hospital director is a little to late to acknowledge the GS is wrong to the point it was only pointing as Director does not see eye to eye with GS only. And in the end, Director deploys his own policy and someone make the hospital gradually better? like in the last 10 min only? The drama never really address the big issues. They show the cause but no solution.
So this is adapted from manga. can definitely sense that when watching this.
Death Office is episodic drama. Each ep is not related to one another with regular characters story revealed little by little.
The premise is very simple, once people die before going to heaven/hell they will need to fill their death form in the death office. The employees of the death office have mysterious background but they all have one thing in common which is later reveal by the character Miki who is a regular for few early episodes.
We get the backstory of all regular characters except for Nishikawa. She was the most interesting character out of all the regulars. I wouldnt say I really enjoy this drama cause I do find some eps a bit boring but it still a nice watch. 7/10
I thought I was the only one not very invested. There is something not engaging about the main case. Like you kinda know those people appears in ep1 all suspect. When the serial killing happened, you kinda know everyone is the victim and the culprit is totally someone you not invested to begin with like it makes u eh... really? There is no suspense toward the culprit.
And Dr.Aiba, she is very suspicious since her first appearance. SO I know she is deep into something. Also Kisaragi ... why she still so ambiguous about her feeling for Takano still? I think I agreed with all the installment, this might be the weakest. 6.5/10
This spin-off is the prequel to Ishi no Mayu. So if you didnt watch Ishi no Mayu, you might be confused with the ending.
for short 20min per ep spin-off, this is kinda well made. At first I was like oh, so this is just a backstory of Yaginuma. At first you thought this is just a linear story but when it went oh so we gonna get twisted story. Though the twist is not so mystery as the story itself slowly hinting the twist. So no surprised element but it got you thinking. And it well made. 7.5/10
Pro - it is cute. Woman in her 30s falling in love with man in his 20s. Their personalities differ but they work it out. Also I like how she is upfront with her marriage setup partner and he is upfront with her too. They actually support system for each other to moving up their own love relationship from the stale state which lead each of them happy ending.
Con? The FL is frustrating. Like I know. u in ur 30. Desire to get marry and have kid is kicking in because of your biological clock. Yes, it is very traditionally Japanese and Asian to think that way. So I dont really have problem with that mindset. What I have problem is how she keeps undermine her BF just because he is 9 years younger than her. Like he is 22. He is already an adult. If he already determine, let he faces the consequences himself or rather since you guys are together, face it together. It was dragging up till last ep.
However, overall Im not mad with the drama. It was enjoyable some times. 6.5/10
Teenagers are fickle. They live in collective culture. If there is an outcast, in reality they will be outcast till the end. But of course for drama purpose, the outcast as main will gain acceptance in the end gradually. This is very typical HS love story. Nothing really new. 6/10
