While it's not a big issue to me since I still like this BL alot regardless but I wanna come back to make a point…
I found it really funny how those people tried to blame Keita when he is not even the lead of this drama. Yes, he plays big role but do you guys know this BL officially only has 1 lead? Yes, this is not a double lead BL like what you mostly see now. It is officially 1 single lead drama. in TV Award, Eiji was nominated for Drama Lead. Keita was nominated as support. People really think this drama was equally revolved around Keita and Eiji? It is not. Eiji was not even auditioned for the role. He was hand picked by production. Whatever decision of no kissing in drama is definitely decided by either Eiji or his management company.
BTW, no kissing contract from drama lead side is quite common in Jdrama especially if the actor/actress is specifically chosen by the production or sponsor
A fiction story if Takeuchi Ryoma has a day off and what he will do on that day. Nothing spectacular. each ep has its own theme. Some eps are certainly weird. LOL. A nice watch to fill your past time. Definitely miles better than Kasumi's version (that was boring). 6.5/10
5min per ep of watching what if a bear has a life of a person but make him unlucky. Go to work, go shopping, eating etc. Nothing special but good to fill the past time. 6/10
This is actually not a bad late-night drama. Not great but a good watch. When there is an age gap couple, generally you will assume the older one is more mature and compose while the young one is less mature and less considerate. This drama give you that but my only problem is the FL is sometimes too inconsiderate to the point she looks a bit selfish and irritating. But other than that, I thought it was a nice watch. Plot can be stronger. 6.5/10
Other then the plot where Hana and Kazuma have kid and Hana tries her best not to be a thief anymore and set example for her daughter, there is nothing much change from season 1. Still corny, still average and still predictable that u wish to speedrun the entire series. 6/10
Well 38 y.o divorcee that married for 10 years going into dating app and dating all sort of men especially young ikemen? it was nice at first but then you keep wondering ... is that all in store for her life? her desire comes first. her action is questionable for her age. 5.5/10
Simple drama. Quirky black comedy but ... i dunno it was funny at first but then it was just ... huh okay. I feel like that in every Bakarhythm comedy. 6.5/10
This drama is the usual NTR trope where the affair and cheating is being glorified. They also show how transactional marriage is in Japan.
Out of the 3 mothers, the Ishiwatari An is shown first. You thought her story will be more and she will be the stern type because her husband ran off with his mistress. But guess what? she is being supportive for her new friend, Kanbari Mari that starting her cheating escapade just because she is not happy with her husband (they never really communicate). If I was An, I will not tolerate cheating at all after what has been done to me. She has the audacity to lash on her husband later on but support her friend just because she had one night stand after her husband ran away? are u against cheating or not? choose one and I dont ever considered her ONS being an affair given the husband already went away.
The other mother, Hayashi Yuko is the true "Marriage is just a transactional". She has no feeling for her husband since the beginning and only marriage him for convenient. Yeah, the mothers being supportive of each other looks good. Female power. But being supportive of their infidelity ... really?
I found it funny how people enjoy and support infidelity in drama yet when the actor/actress involved in one, they straight away cancel them.
The kids relationship is the best but they dont really show them much.
TBH I do enjoy good NTR drama. It was actually good in the first 3 eps but really over glorified NTR without much drama is boring. The ending is also boring. 5.5/10
Well, not much of mystery. More like too much misunderstanding and blind hatred. Also the romance is ... meh. Did I hate this? no. Did I like this? not really. 6.5/10
Interesting plot but not enough budget making this looks very amateurish. Also some eps were good. Most are average. Good thing they hired diverse less known actors but some of their actings ... questionable. 5.5/10
It is nice to watch I guess. Some eps are good. Some eps are meh. The FL leads ... she has like 10% screentime in every ep that when it was her ep (last ep), her story didn't give any impact. 5.5/10
The plot idea is interesting. Very game-like. However, the good thing stop there because the acting of the 2 Johnny Idols were bizarrely bad. Like I know this is just late night drama but get ur acting together. I didn't think Fuma acting will be this horrible.
Also the ending ... I was expecting it to wrap everything. 5/10
This drama is far from masterpiece. Women empowerment drama is not something new in Jdrama. At first I dont understand why the rating is low but the comments are otherwise. But after watching this I understand why.
I will say at first, a story about unidentified group of secretaries pulling string in the shadow is good. That was what ep1 is. A good ep. But the plot going downhill so quickly. As the eps goes, it slowly sinks into average common plot that has been there done that kind of story. Nothing new. nothing exciting. Every thing is so predictable. And the ending falls into The villain is dangerous person ... proceed to end without any problem. Like ... why so many dramas/movies falling into this ending trap? Also I would say it is so unrealistic that it hurts my eyes. Some of the scene are so obvious and not done in very discreet manners. I know u didnt have much budget but at least do them correctly. 5.5/10
It is Yakuza boss and his underling. What are you expecting? a rule abide pure heart consent asking gangster?…
Of course morally it is not right. But being a Yakuza causing chaos to others is already morally wrong. At least for me why im not shocked by the opening scene because they are Yakuza of 2 people with 2 difference hierarchy in the organization. For a boss gangster asking consent to his underling will be most shocking thing I will see in this scenario. Because realistically, that will not going to happen. Taken aback, yes but shocking? no
uhhhhhh was no one shocked by the opening scene cuz that's not right TT
It is Yakuza boss and his underling. What are you expecting? a rule abide pure heart consent asking gangster? Aint going to happen even in normal life.
Those kids tried to eliminate their teacher and still free in the end ..... Well I guess they learnt their lesson ... maybe probably ... perhaps. So many twist and turns. It went from psycho to supernatural. I did enjoy it. 6.5/10
It was good but what the hell with the ending? LMAO. Also Osawa Ren character is the only character without any push unlike other side character. Feels like they have to cut corners for this drama. I think 7 or 8 eps will wrap the stories of the rest of characters nicely. 6.5/10.
This drama is not bad. Good acting. Good plot. But im frustrated by the dad. U are a Journalist yet u didnt think to investigate it urself at first without external push? really? 6.5/10
