I think we both watching a totally different series 🤣🤣🤣you only see kiyoi fault but not even said one…
I'm not hating Kiyoi, I don't know if my word choices made it seem like that. I can dislike a character's personality and certain things about them without hating them. Hate is a strong word, and I have better things to do than hate on a fictional character. I admit was only thinking about Kiyoi's character development. I was only thinking about Kiyoi's fault, maybe because we got to see the story mostly from Hira pov. After I reading some of these replies I agree that Hira needs one also.
Befor I get into this I want to say I respect your opinion . You are allowed to feel however you want. I find…
Thank you for being respectful about this. I also respect your opinion.
-I'm not saying Kiyoi is toxic simply because I like Koyama. I admit maybe if he wasn't in the drama then there would be no room for comparison, but I'd still feel the same way as I do about Kiyoi. And don't believe it's Kiyoi's fault that Hira doesn't like Koyama. How Hira feels about Kiyoi has nothing to do with Koyama and how he feels about Koyama has nothing to do with Kiyoi. And whatever character I like is my own preference, it doesn't mean that the MC have the end with that character. At the end of the day it's his choice, the character's happiness is more important than my own biased preference, I'm fine with whoever he ends up with.
-I don't understand what you mean by "kimoi", from the website I watched it on I think they translated it word gross and disgusting if I remember correctly. I'm interested in what the word means and why you think it it fits Hira though.
-I admit I did not consider how Kiyoi was Hira's only friend and the time they spend together after Kiyoi loss the audition. He did help him gain some confidence because Hira was able to stand up to the bullies because liking Kiyoi did give him some strength. But I was referring to how Hira is always apologizing for no reason. I think part of it is because of how Kiyoi treated him.
-I'm not asking him to be perfect. I understand his perspective, especially after episode 5. Yes I understand he had his issues and why he treated Hira that way but that doesn't excuse his behavior.
-Before I was only thinking about Kiyoi's character development but after I reading some of these replies I agree that Hira needs one also. I was only thinking about Kiyoi's fault, maybe because we got to see the story mostly from Hira pov. I agree that both characters are flawed and they can work things out together.
Personally I think their relationship is toxic. The way Kiyoi always tell Hira he's disgusting and Hira always…
All this aside. -I hope it was longer than 6 episodes. The drama is too fast paced for me. -Koyama is cute. I don't usually get second syndrome but I love him so much, I'm just gonna go cry. And I've seen the actor from some dramas, hope I can see him play in more dramas in the future
Personally I think their relationship is toxic. The way Kiyoi always tell Hira he's disgusting and Hira always apologizing for absolute no reason is a big red flag. And no communication, like how was the dude supposed to know you like him? And episode 5 was supposed to help us understand him but not make us believe he's a saint. Yes I can understand him more not but he still has no right treating Hira like that. These kind of characters cause their partner to become less confident and make them feel like they can't live without them. They're always so arrogant and act like they're are right. And calling him disgusting and gross?
But like this is dramaland, it's not the first time. There are so many other ML like this and I watched those dramas. I'm gonna watch it, but I'm gonna remember this kind of behavior is not justifiable.
I think Hira deserves to be with someone who help him become more confident and more sure of himself. A relationship where he doesn't feel like he's at fault and have to apologize for everything. Koyama would be better for him, but hey the heart want what it wants! I hope we can see some character development for Kiyoi in the next episode.
I wouldn't have a problem with him if he help her out in his own way like doing housework, but he doesn't. On top of that he's lying to her and using her money to play games while she's here struggling
I watched Novelist yesterday and when I came back to this series I thought the guy who played Nakasone looked like the male lead from the movie, turns out it's the same actor
I feel like this movie has a kind of wtf comedy, I don't know if that makes sense The interactions between the two leads was cute and the actors had chemistry I really enjoy this
I just finished ep 6 and I'm not sure how to feel about this drama. The whole story with the mom is so unrealistic. She abandoned her child for 15+ years maybe. She didn't bother to meet her child even once during those years but a stranger reached out to her and she agreed to meet him because of something she said? Now she's talking about how guilty she felt after she left him. It was not the FL's place to arranged the meeting between the mother and him, not to mention she didn't tell him about to before hand. And I hate how she thinks she can "cure" his phobia. IRL she would be causing more harm than good. And after years dealing with this phobia, hating himself and wondering why his mother left him, the selfish mother made up some excuses and the ML believes her? I'm not sure about the way they are handling this OCD case, hopefully things get better.
