I'm just glad RB is over and finished without any major drama. Before, I was worried YZ would do something stupid again and shift all the blame onto CZY. 🤣

I doubt his agency will ever learn their lesson, so keeping my expectations at rock bottom for them is probably the safest bet for my own sanity. 🫠

The latest rumors about him are all related to YZ. First is that drama Legally Ladies with WJY, and the second one is the drama with BL, which will be produced by Huanyu Entertainment. I hope none of this is true, because it surely won't end well again.

Bodi Production produced both DNAD and FH. Considering that the two dramas he did with them were well-received, it wouldn't be surprising if they work with him again.

​I enjoyed the first season of LYF but the 2nd season was a bit underwhelming for me. 😅

CZY poured so much effort into this project, considering he was dealing with an injury at that time, and I truly hope the final result makes every bit of that hard work and pain (and our long wait) completely worth it. 🙏

Just hearing his name is enough to ruin my mood. 🤣 Honestly, what else can you expect from someone with such shady character? I’m genuinely surprised he didn't pull any stunts while RB was airing. Thank goodness CZY is so gracious and taking the high road instead of holding a grudge against him and the production team.

I've heard a lot of great things about the Fated Hearts team. Word is they manage their time exceptionally well and rarely finish shooting very late. I really hope he gets to work with them again.

I really hope he never has to deal with a fraudulent production team like this ever again. 🙏

Frankly, I'm not expecting any major promotion for Chasing Dreams. The endless delays make it obvious that 🐧doesn't consider it a priority.

I came to terms long ago with the fact that no platform will ever treat him the way he deserves. 🥝, 🥭, 👖, and 🐧 are all cut from the same cloth. As a fan, it breaks my heart, but that's just the harsh reality of c-ent.

The last thing I want for his portfolio is another RB. Even though his performance earned genuine praise, haters will inevitably use the project's overall outcome to tear him down.

Heavy CGI is always a gamble, and if the post-production editing is poor or outdated, it’s going to drag the whole drama down no matter how amazing the actors are.

I saw on X that the rumor about it getting a distribution license is not true, but honestly, I’d be thrilled if they actually got it already.

It looks like Against the Current is airing next on Tencent, which unfortunately means we'll probably have to wait until October or even November for Chasing Dreams. Unbelievably, CZY will be celebrating his second birthday since finishing production on this drama, and we still don't have any reliable news on when it will air. 🤦‍♀️

Chen Zheyuan has so much untapped potential and emotional depth as an actor. I highly recommend checking out his interviews with Xinhua News Agency and Movie Talk. I rarely see an actor with such a deep understanding of the characters he portrays. So many others just approach it superficially like it's just a job, but he brings real depth.

I’d love to see him step out of his comfort zone and lead an intense psychological thriller or character drama like Flower of Evil. Something like Kill Me, Heal Me would be good too.

Yes, the horse scene was also very iconic in Fated Hearts. The BTS clips were hilarious, but he still looked amazingly cool while pulling it off. Once his collarbone is completely healed, I really hope we get to see him pull that off again.

Someone told me that when celebrities aren't satisfied with how they're treated or feel disadvantaged, they sometimes express their discontent through their fandom. Some even buy 'black hot searches' to malign other celebrities. I might be wrong about this, though.

All I hope for him is a solid script, a reliable and competent production team, unproblematic co-stars, and smooth, drama-free filming.

I agree. To think he was still recovering from a collarbone injury makes his performance even more impressive. Really glad RB let him showcase those impressive fight scenes despite his limited screen time.

Btw, given that he sustained a collarbone injury during filming of Chasing Dreams, it makes me wonder if the director cut down his fight scenes or if they just brought in a stunt double for him?

I hope he learns from the feedback on his recently concluded drama and brings those improvements to this project, even though the issues there certainly extended beyond just the directing.
