Considering the notorious politics of the C-entertainment industry, a stolen brand deal is hardly unexpected. The last rumor I heard when C announced their new Brand Ambassador in March was that Zheyuan would be collaborating again with Loewe. Though clearly, that never came to fruition.

Honestly, I was expecting a different actor to land this brand ambassadorship since he’d been wearing YSL to several events recently. I was so ready to be disappointed again, but then Zheyuan dropped the announcement this week! 🥹

If my memory serves me right, their only visible collaboration before this was Paris Fashion Week back in June (unless I missed something). That said, I did notice him wearing YSL for Vogue China’s Forces of Fashion and Weibo Night, so perhaps those were early hints after all. 🤔

I get where you're coming from, but comparing them directly isn't really fair. They’re under completely different agencies with vastly different resources, connections, and behind-the-scenes support. Plus, those other actors have had a steady stream of dramas coming out recently, whereas his last one aired almost a year ago.
