PhumPeem are it for me ..though i enjoy moments from other cps..I didnt look for any deep plot or fantastic directing..etc etc. I expected it to be a light hearted, free slice of life story with plot holes(sigh) and that's what i got..so am not very disappointed :))
In most of the series i watched so far its like i have been waiting for something spicy to happen and then it fizzles/becomes familiar once it happens...but here though in 1st EP they already did the deed yet the spice meter and sexual tension keeps giving 🤌❤️
I cried :'( the audacity of Ming to do all this shit to Joe and that Tong's greedy selfish ass... both deserve jail time for doing that to Joe. Whatever redemption arc and begging is going to be involved in future EP i dont think i can forgive someone like Ming. Maybe that Tong issue was unresolved but coming to Joe's workplace and fighting, locking him up, emotional manipulation this all screams toxic psycho shit. He deserves to be in hell and wait for many more years and repent.
However i cried when he was the only one who remembered Joe as in day to day life and waited for him to come home to cooked food and switched ON lights. I hate Ming, detest Tong and wanna hug the shit outa Joe. Everyone deserves 👏 for acting this EP.
Dunno if its only me, i like PhumPeem's story out of all..and i didnt even watch FUP, NLMG fully... they have sparkly chemistry here and it doesnt look corny or cringe. I like all others acting but not necessarily their couple. I liked AouBoom in their previous works but here am yet to see how it gets better for them. QToey their flashback and their scene construction were sweet but i marginally only like them as a couple. There hasnt been anything to study reg MarcPoon but maybe their couple is affected by the controversy. My opinion may also have been influenced by my fav trope of 'enemies to lovers' (PhumPeem) yet it feels like their storyline/chemistry flows naturally.. 🤔
Props to the casting of Great and Inn..they have crackling chemistry. This was supposed to be light hearted rom com with some spicy chemistry and for me its delivering it all. Did i think that necklace scene was random...yes but did i think it was perfect...absolutely YES. If My stand in causes heartache on friday..this applies some smiley stickers on my heart and heals it. Both giving us some of the best BLs of 2024 !!!

Questinable actions here include excessive possessiveness, making joe think he is ashamed of him and the most heartbreaking thing is making joe think he was a substitute for someone else...making him think he was a stand in real life too...

I get that Ming was clearly telling Joe that he wasnt serious and joe thinking about future made him panic but making another person think as being substitute is the worst thing ever even if the relationship was temporary.

Yes Ming didnt give any assurance reg the relationship but he very well knew Joe has been alone all his life, hasnt been feeling secure about love.After one night stand Joe thought about Ming but didnt approach him intentionally, Ming did and him agreeing to move in is like giving Joe a hope that someday they maybe more. Him giving in a little didnt seem like out of love, it looked like guilt and having sex only from behind so he doesn't have to look at Joe's face is a red flag in itself. I dont know if he likes Joe now or not but i dont think what he has done till now justifies his behavior. Being sad/lonely doesnt give someone a right to do things like that.

Ok its official !! This series is making smile week after week.. liking all the couple's so far ..Phum and Peem are my fav at present since i like enemies to lovers trope more and PondPhuwin are masters of this genre. All the other couples are equally adorable and cute ..looking forward to more squeal worthy moments ❤️

He was really convincing as a shy introverted writer there and i liked the chemistry with Kao too..here its is complete 180 and contrary to other comments i find it good, he is making me hate him and forget about his prev good boy roles. I generally like good/kind roles so i think my fav will still be lovely writer ☺️
Joe is extremely loveable, self suffering and kind guy...exact kinda guy that should avoid someone like Ming. Ming is a walking, talking, sleeping 🚩🚩🚩whose life is idyllic, chaotic and boring. I dont even think he even likes Tong truly...he is someone he was obsessed with since young, now he is beginning to shift the obsession to Joe while keeping his previous obsession on a simmer. I haven't read the novel, but can feel the angst that is about to come already. Loving the tone and the actors esp Poom ..he is doing a really good job, except Ming we all are in love with him already ❤️ 100/10 must be protected. Up is slowly making us hate Ming..so he is doing a good job too.
Painful watch...i liked all the actors. But not even they could save this anymore, story is not going anywhere...ML pair is not going anywhere...2nd lead is also a waste of time. And lastly subs... they could wait and sub it decently atleast. Story+Subs= disaster
Pavel 🔥🔥 I must say as titular character he slayed and without him the series would have sunk. Honorable mentions - Sailub, Nut.. others simply didnt have space or script to perform or exhibit their range. Overall will miss Pitbabe ❤️💔
