I need romance.... it is kinda weird drama. you posted that it is boring and that made me think and i finally figured out what is weird in it.
Females in it act like males and males act like females...not literally but... Females are agressive and males are kinda submissive and soothing. Look at main couple - if you reverse places - it would become usual clishe romcom. Hardworking and cold guy who has childhood ties with then not so pretty little neighbourhood girl who moves away becomes famous and pretty just for this guy and using old connections tries become part of his life despite his rought and cold behaviour toward her, even moves live into his house, makes dinners, cleans, takes care of him but he still sees him like little girl from nextdoor.
Next main couple...try change parts same way and it leads into same results.
With side couples...it can be done too...weird, huh?

Character in drama is now grown up who has lost everything: his sister, first love, his father is suspect of murder, he got nearly stabbed to death,he has alot enemies, he is in danger every day. Its no wonder that he has lost his smile and hides his emotions, still if you look carefully you can see his face sometimes soften up or nearly loosing temper. To be honest i have liked KHJ's subdle acting style a long time but... there are older actors who has praised his acting in IG //you can find thous articles/interviews in net// , so im not purely fangirling here.
Story is now more interesting bc there are new characters and new sidestories, main storyline is still building up what has to come.

... i watch it now, for me too early to say how i like it /stories/. Still acting is good...one thing what i dont like is - all this dramas official posters are so spoilerous. I can already see how it ends ...and this takes half fun away.

i agree, he was really good in role of young Jung Tae and his amazing resemblance with KHJ , not only in looks but even in acting style was perfect. Lets hope we see him soon in dramaland again :D

It first seems soooo long but i swear- in the end you want more. This anime keeps you at the end of seat and after watching it your hype is high I promise it!

Old classic, so visuals might be not so high than in new animes but it isnt bad. It has everything - you laugh and cry. It is many stories in one frame anime. I still sometimes rewatch it.

This anime has older OVA version too. They are same by feel but story is tiny-tinybit diferent, mostly ending. I even doesnt know why i like this anime, story is simple / adaptation of old manga/ still it somehow touches you and in nowday world there still is happening same things.

In anime most romane is in shoujo genre, its genre what i rarely wath bcc i go blind from all thous shining stars, hearts and roses, add here really silly-cheesy storylines. Sadly in anime josey genre has so few good titles, so mostly i have watched more seinen and some shounen. Still there are animes what are good despite genre bc they are just good :P

It is anime with many stories in frame one. Warm and nice, you grow love main character, makes you think about life and love.

Somehow i already have theory about outcome / i mean how they interpret history facts/ and its kinda fun to see does they use this way or does writer has some other twist in the sleeve to make story fit to history. Til now this drama has very clever writing.
