Weirdly i find his role in PK made better than it was done by MH. His was more close to what it was in manga and his behaviour was right. In manga this guy was same. ME was too mushy and i couldnt see him have this high IQ about what there was so big fuzz. People with very high IQ have exsactly same flaws like KHJ was showing us in PK. He managed give drama not only romance of "cold and arrogant guy" but managed add there his actual problem - incapability to understand feelings of other people and even feelings of himself and how to express them. It was nice to see how he slowly learned it. All this was missing from Tdrama, it was just romcom and that was all.

...mmm already in PK there where some tiny moments, when he didnt had maintain "cold&stiff;" look and where he managed act kinda flawlessly. In BF he is just too honest with other cast members, its more personal and less acting for him (poor guy)i hope he gets ower it and starts feel more equal there..but maybe it is scripted this way, who knows.
He can act littlebit more now, his face expressions are more natural and moving is nicely free. And just to make mood more lively...:

I dont have very big hopes up...but i have some hopes :D

...i think its not his choise in BF but if you look carefully he is very capable there and not only physicaly but he can be kinda clever and uses his brains alot, just it isnt bolded out. Ower years his looks has changed alot, not only body but face too. Cold flowerboy is gone, he is grown to very handsome man.

Have seen first and second movie, both are kinda ok for weekend.
Third one is unknown for me....from summary seems interesting.

Best acting in Tdrama was in my oppinion Autumn's Concerto and Meteor Garden.Last on has tiny flaws at beginning but improves quickly,so if you want Tdrama with normal acting then i recomment thous two dramas. Sadly second season of Meteor Garden isnt good. In MG s1, main actors looks and acting manners first didnt impress me but somehow they managed act themself look handsome and charming - it is skill owned only by talanted actors :D and i dont talk only about main leads. They grow into team who walk-talk-laugh-cry on screen so naturally that you manage forget about them acting.AC has some actor from MG cast and you can see that acting skills have grown even more.
Actors with skills and talant give you unforgettable moments of pleasure and if story is good and directing is professional, nice soundtrack - it is pure joy what one clumsy and stiff "eyecandy" cant never give.:D

you are really sure that 2.season is better? They have learned act and deliver text and changed scripwriter? Bc im now on 28 ep of 1. season and it is like train wreck - awful but you cant blink bc you may miss that only second in episode where somebody really delivers good perfomance. It cant be "unique acting style of tdrama" bc i have seen tdramas what have actors with perfect acting skills.Is 2.season really-really better ? I fear that, bc there isnt original story on what they could lean, they manage twist it even more weird.I desided watch all adaptions of this manga. I liked Playful Kiss, it had alot good acting with tiny details and keeping characters close what they where in manga. Adaption was done very well by scripwriter and directing was good too.I poked 1. Jdrama littlebit but desided watch tdrama first bc there was so much fuzz about how good it is...

I could see it in PK how he deeply fell (in first episode). It was nicely acted out, with all tiny details.

lucky you...im near end and still havent find him handsome or good at acting, sigh.To be honest i hoped he is good in this drama, with all fuzz around it but it was just usual him - stiff and no good in emotional moments. And second leads all are better looking and acting actors...what a waist.
p.s. I have read manga and know how his personality should be and what must hide behind his cold behaviour.

He doesnt look ugly but....not handsome too, kinda "ordinary brat" looks (it is personal oppinion) what need big help from stylist to be desent to eyes, his acting skills arent top quality too.
Plot sounds interesting i hope they find better lead for it...there is many actually handsome and talanted actors in korea who can pull this story out very easily.

Im working, working and working - no summer vacation.
Yes i still sometimes read yaoi and other manga, lately less yaoi ones bc ther isnt good new stories, all is kinda mainstream and medicore.
Nearly all Jdramas are manga adaptions and jdramas with romance genre are shoujo manga adaptions. Im not fan of shoujo genre and most of jdramas left me cold bc they have poor directing and acting. Idols just for eyecandy isnt mine thing and acting in schoolplay level...not mine cup of tea. There is few good jdramas but mostly older ones, with actors who have good acting style and original script.
So fot shoujo manga adaptions just go to search, mark jdrama and genre romance (and comedy) - and you get the list.
If you want watch drama with some good acting and directing then i can recommend some but i doupt you like them ...

I have already seen this drama but i was talking about it with one of mine friend here and...i thought i just lightly peek some scenes...when i was able to stop myself i have already rewatched 4 episodes. Now I have so many dramas what i want to see and so few of time, i try avoid rewatching...still, i think i finish rewatching TBDaW bc it feels so good after so many medicore dramas.

If all charaters are quick to think and figure out then there should be one who isnt and who manages cause disasters for all characters, mess up all smooth plans - so, that we audiense can burn out nerves, shout to screen, feel anxiety...in short: fully enjoy ride.

I agee, city Hunter really seems like kids daydrama if you compare them. And cast acts better too, script is more logical and real, directing is well done.
