Ikr? I wonder if it's not popular enough for Viki or it's cost to the rights to stream it. I'll even take AI translated…
lol well some stuff you can get from context but the more specific nuances might be hard to understand, but i'd think masahi, and inoo's notoriety as musicians would get their fans to be interested or so (b/c i believe season 1 was subbed by someone who was into the main lead's manga, but it's in a locked private livejournal community i think)
I wonder if some of the 'cleaning tips' are realistic/practical tho. like i vaguely remember a scene with like rice water on a wood floor for 'wax' but seems kinda risky to 'test' out something like that lol
or just commissioning someone (i mean there's prolly legality issues on that tho i'm sure ppl can set up a kofi and having it as a 'donation' or so versus a direct pay to unlock.)
other than kashima flirting with girls, i dont' think anything in gsnk would rly be that strict on being 'censored' since it is shoujo manga tropes even if a bit meta (IDK if there'd be any mayumiko scenes but even in the series it's not rly as implied but even BL C-dramas have been a thing i think so it'd think there'd at least be 'bromance' even if no 'flirting' lol)
When will koreans get tired of seeing rich people on their screens being rich and miserable?
i haven't watched a lot of kdramas but i'd assume all the 'rich ppl' type charas would make it easier for the advertisers/sponsors to show off all the luxurious outfits/sunglasses/etc lol
To the people who read the manga, can i read the manga where the drama left off ??
the translation only goes up to chapter 15, i think the translator picked it back up again though other than it being published in an official company it might be a while to catch up beyond it, unless you can read the japanese raws (not sure how diff they changed it in the jdrama though)
it's based on the manga, so reading that would be good since there's like 50 chapters versus 4 eps. technically…
yeah you can search it on mangadex, still ongoing but the scanlation group has like 3+ other series they're translating to the updates are a bit slower paced too (tho Tada is male, and a bit more naive/idealistic/sometimes 'comic relief', it's still pretty serious. it's a bit more ambiguous on whether the main chara is actually human or not versus the movie showing that 'hypnotizing/red eyes' animation that made him seem more demonic). It's up to chapter 42 tho there's still 80 or more total, dunno if another movie or 2nd season would happen for live action though
Uramiya Honpo is also pretty similar, female lead, but clearly more human/psych side of things and charging money as opposed to Usobuki wanting things to escalate more for his own entertainment
Here i am, picking a drama without subs for the 1457 time 👍🏻🥲
it's based on the manga, so reading that would be good since there's like 50 chapters versus 4 eps. technically its' all connected with the police investigating the main chara but there are some standalone stories
Kotos hair is cute in the poster lol, too bad cosmo's hair streak isn't more prominent tho i think it was supposed to be white and not pink but you'd think it'd be easy to find some temp spray or like an extension
I guess cheating is a popular theme but other than a comedy like "Fake Affair" (though that had some real cheating too), it's kinda hard to root for Noa because you can see that's she's intentionally manipulative/malicious as opposed to two ppl falling in love but with bad timing, maybe it's framed better in the manga, but other than the main male lead being shown as a bigger jerk, idk how many ppl are rooting for him to get caught/marriage/job ruined by 'temptation'
i think you can find the first chapter of the manga untranslated but I don't think the episodes have raws uploaded yet either. donsubbers have been doing 'manga adaptation' series but i don't know if they'll pick it up
I found some on myasiantv though it's kinda rough, you can more or less understand it but it's kinda noticeable that some words /phrases are slightly off if you know enough
I wonder if some of the 'cleaning tips' are realistic/practical tho. like i vaguely remember a scene with like rice water on a wood floor for 'wax' but seems kinda risky to 'test' out something like that lol
