Literally every character sucks ass in this show minus my girl, Xu Yan. Even her older sister, Qiao Lin, who I thought was kinda ok is pissing me off. Xu Yan has to clean up all her messes, she’s irresponsible, immature, selfish and just plain annoying.
Also I wish her “dad” would just fuck off already he goes on and on about “We’re not longer family! We’re no longer father and daughter!” Yet there his ass is butting into everything that isn’t his gd business. Ugh.

Ok last thing, Shen Hao Ming is a self-centered ass hat. I hope he hurts, after their divorce, so so so bad. Like I want him screaming, crying, throwing up, over the loss of the precious, Xu Yan.
I want to see Xu Yan break free so bad. ZL does a great job t portraying how her character is merely going through the motions of life, but not actually living. She so focused on reach whatever goal she’s set for herself, that’s she’s so closed up and cold.
Also the grovel be worth while for whatever secret the ML is keeping.
First ep was funny af and surprisingly refreshing for a plot that’s been done many times over. I really liked that Yoona’s character is still lowkey in disbelief about the time slip, it felt realistic. Also the chemistry is eating down omg—but I feel like I can already tell the ending is going to be open ended or just plain sad imo. I hope I’m wrong.
I absolutely adored this drama, as someone who read the web novel I’m so happy that it’s getting the recognition it deserves. I so badly want physical copies of the books translated in English so I can cherish them forever. 😭🫶 this was amazing I don’t care what anyone says
