First ep was funny af and surprisingly refreshing for a plot that’s been done many times over. I really liked that Yoona’s character is still lowkey in disbelief about the time slip, it felt realistic. Also the chemistry is eating down omg—but I feel like I can already tell the ending is going to be open ended or just plain sad imo. I hope I’m wrong.
I absolutely adored this drama, as someone who read the web novel I’m so happy that it’s getting the recognition it deserves. I so badly want physical copies of the books translated in English so I can cherish them forever. 😭🫶 this was amazing I don’t care what anyone says
Went from Viki, to IQIYI, to Wetv now omfg. The first has slow af updates, the second just cut episodes from 2 to 1 daily and the third is making me pay extra for a vip subscription PLUS an express package to watch the second ep 😭😭😭😭😭😭 what is this madness
Now that the drama is finally released I hope its popularity pushes the novel to be published in English. I would pay sooo much money to own this series 😭😭😭
I don't know what it is about this c-drama that seems so unlike any other drama that I've watched. the family drama and the mystery of Qiao Being Yu's death feels so insidious-- its the only word I can use to describe it. Like, I really thought that this drama would be like all the others that I've watched in that the family drama would just feel ridiculous and annoying, but every episode has been so thrilling and full of intrigue. It almost feels like I'm watching a horror movie, I don't like or trust anyone besides the two main characters; Ming Sheng and Qiao Qing Yu.
On another note they really need to start physically publishing Chinese Light Novels in English more, I'm about to read this online but damn I wish I had a copy because if the drama is a reflection of the writing in novel, I'm going to absolutely love it.
Need season 2 ASAP omg so many storylines that need continuing 😭🙏that last episode had me bawling the whole time, it was 20mins longer than the other episodes and it was still too short 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
