People really need to chill. As usual, it’s the same old "age gap" or "mismatched couple" complaints... whatever, it is an endless loop.

First of all, the show is clearly not meant to be taken that seriously.
Second, if you don’t feel any chemistry, that’s fine, just don’t watch it?
Third, the fact that this couple feels so absurd is exactly what makes it interesting. It’s part of the humor, part of the charm.

Honestly, not every drama has to fit your personal checklist of "realistic couples" or "perfect chemistry". Sometimes, it’s just about enjoying a weird, funny dynamic and letting the story do its thing.

So yeah, if Nice to Not Meet You isn’t your cup of tea, that’s cool.
Me, i'm curious how this show will develop itself and I hope the tone will be kept.

I get that harmful tropes can ruin a show but I'm not really convinced here. If depict a random scene in the middle east with a terrorist attack or presenting a real case is enough to make you ragequit, well, maybe you are overeacting. Its an unstable region (due to western force I don't deny that) but I do not see where they showed that arabs = villains like we could have seen in other movies or series in the world.

I think you miss the point of the drama.

Simping aside, the story is kinda cool. A mysterious backstory for the ML with a WTF side of him that is quite funny 🤣. The youngsters are endearing. Kinda feeling a fiery priest vibe in a sense that we have a mix of comedy and serious moment. Luv it so far.

If I'm not mistaken the drama is quite successful and even within the story you have a room for a new direction of Yullim. And new cases. For me a 2nd season have a 75% chance

You know, not everything has to be canon. You can use your own imagination or wait for a potential season 2. Never understood people who always want canon things. Moreover it was kind of obvious that they can end up together off screen. It was very poetic.

Really the end was like I Imagined. The ending brilliantly presented their form of love to let the possibility of a season 2. The romance might be silent but it was obviously there and I wouldnt mind to see it expressed in a second season.

It was a pleasure for me to be so invested in this show. Been a long since I had not felt this way. Absolute cinema.

xD. Well, its the principle of slow burn romance lmao. You know there is attraction but the consecration will be at the end. Even with an open ending, its like obvious asf they will end up together. Maybe the screenwriter is a master baiter but I doubt it. Or road to season 2 which is my personal take.

I think I will watch épisodes 11 & 12 together. 7 days remaining before the absolute cinema :D
