Drama is ok. Don’t like Fl’s character who keep going after red fox repeatedly when she knows he is already taken. . She knows he still love his old lover deeply but she continues to guilt him into loving her. Girl, There’s plenty of fishes in the sea!

Drama indeed followed loosely to the novel’s storyline but not exactly. If you expected it exactly like the novel you will be disappointed for sure. The only disappointment I had was that the ending did not include epilogues which would have tied up the ending even better.

She may be but there are better ways to deal with that situation. Publicly humiliating and looking down on her daughter especially in the public Royal court where css already deals with bullying from others just made the situation worse for her.
I can’t wait to watch Css grow up and become the opposite of what her mother said she was and at same time receive more love from the empress that her mother failed to give. The mother will watch in regret.

First week, they play two episodes everyday from Tues to Saturday but for the weeks after that , they will only play 2 episodes everyday from Tuesday to Thursdays till end of July.

No. That one is likely a dream scene. If you watch episode 16 teaser, you’ll see CSS telling Yao to let his mother know about the engagement. So no marriage yet. Prob end of this month we’ll see a marriage or in love like a galaxy part 2? That’s my guess.

After watching first four episodes, I can see the mom loves her daughter very much. I think her spoiling the other is one of her strategies to help CSS push forward. She knows her daughter is very stubborn headed and intelligent. She told her daughter that she can train even the worst solider.. so it’s probably reverse psychology strategy lol.
I think it’s because the novel is poorly translated into English so it’s hard to understand. Maybe later on, there will be better translations. What sounds right in Chinese may not sound right in English.
