Because she fell facing her chin down the road, so she didn't have head injury
Falling on your chin could cause a serious head or neck injuries. The fact that she was having trouble maintaining consciousness is another sign that her injury was not just superficial skin damage. So yeah, I find their priorities to be backwards.
I'm assuming the tables around you aren't flippedI'M SO HAPPY RNNNN WINTERGARDEN HAS GREAT COMMUNICATIONALSO THAT…
THE TABLES ARE SAFE! So safe! I'm so pleased with this episode that I'm now going to bolt them to the floor to ensure their future safety. hahaha. And yes! I was hoping for an episode where I got to see Jeong-won jealous over the resident and it happened! Ahhh! I think I will be able survive the hiatus next week.
Not to date myself but... I bought one of those Now That's What I Call Music (#5) compilation CDs back in middle school just so I could have a copy of Bon Jovi's "It's My Life." The fact that they covered this song in this week's episode has me so giddy. haha.
what if a miracle happens and Song Hwa confesses to Ik Jun, what if?
I don't think she's there yet, and I have a strong suspicion that the end of season 2 will mirror the last episode of season 1 and have her confess to him at the end of episode 12.
Ik Jun has hepatitis. Therefore he can't donate his liver to iksun. But not sure about Ik Sun's disease name.…
Ik Jun doesn't have hepatitis. He was referring to the brother of the patient from that episode. While he channeled some of his personal emotions and experience when explaining to Gyeol and the med student what the other man was feeling, the details were about the patient and her brother.
Leading woman crashes bike and has trouble maintaining consciousness, and everyone his worried about her chin, not a possible head injury? No mention of a possible concussion? You don't even need to be a doctor to know that's just...bad medicine/writing.
Oh yeah, he's got a crush. I think there was a bit of foreshadowing when Sun Bin told Yoon Bok to snap out of…
There was also a scene in an earlier episode (the one where Jung-won gave her his card to pay for the residents' dinner) where she left the room, and the resident stared after her even when she was gone.
i mean that makes no sense she didn't even find the reason why he did not come?/
I can get what you're saying, but it also makes sense that she would cry out of disappointment because her crush couldn't spend her birthday with her, especially after he built up her expectation that he would be seeing her. She doesn't necessarily have to cry because she thought a confession was coming.
That resident is definitely smitten. I really hope after Gyeoul opens up about her family we get a scene where…
He definitely has it in him to be pouty and throw a "tantrum" by metaphorically marking his territory, and I am so here for it. haha. I just need them to wrap up the whole situation with her mother. They are drawing it out too long for my taste, making me kind of dislike Gyeoul, who is one of my favorite characters.

i mean that makes no sense she didn't even find the reason why he did not come?/
Well, there is also a twenty year difference between those two scenes can be attributed to their maturity level and how they reacted in those situations. She was still young and inexperienced at that point. Whereas, in Ik-jun's case, he was older and had been through a divorce.
i mean that makes no sense she didn't even find the reason why he did not come?/
She knows the reason now because Ik-jun told her in season one. This was the day/night where Seok-hung confessed to Song-hwa, and Ik-jun had to pick his drunk butt up from the police station. Ik-jun was going to confess that night, but after knowing Seok-hung had feelings for her, too, he backed off.
Also does Jeongwon have competition? I wonder if he would ever get jealous. Hopefully Gyeoul comes clean with…
That resident is definitely smitten. I really hope after Gyeoul opens up about her family we get a scene where Jung-won sees the resident ask out Gyeoul, and Jung-won, out of jealousy, reveals their relationship. haha. I'm going to be highly disappointed if the scene where the hospital staff finds out about their secret relationship isn't dramatic/hilarious.
We're at ep 9 but as others have noticed, there has been a lack of story & character development. IMO, it seems…
The series was initially intended to be three seasons long, but I kind of feel like they might end it after only two seasons because our main five are all nearing the endgame for their pairings. Gyeol just needs to tell Jung-won about her mom so Jung-won can feel secure in the relationship again and propose to her, Seok-hung knows how he feels and just needs to confess or accept Min-ah's confession, Jun-wan and Ik-sun are nearing reconciliation (meh), and Song-hwa is close to accepting her feelings for Ik-jun. If they ease up slightly on the patient stories, they could easily wrap things up in the next three episodes, especially if they keep being close to two hours long.
Unless they throw us some major curveballs in the next three episodes, I'm not sure there will be much left for a season three.
Finally we get to see a tiny glimpse of Songhwa's POV she liked Ikjun but wrong timing got in the way it's safe…
It was pretty clear in season one that she liked Ik-jun back in the 90s, but I agree, it was nice to have a flashback and see that she was also looking forward to meeting up with him the night he planned on giving her the gift. Although, it was kind of heartbreaking, too.
The break up trope didn't fit this drama imo. These characters should be mature enough at this point to communicate…
Agreed, and the reconciliation in episode 13 only emphasizes how unnecessary and poorly handled it was in this drama. It makes sense for the characters to hesitate and pull back during the courtship phase, but it's dumb for them to get together and then breakup over his heart condition after seemingly both being aware of what that entails.
Tbh the only thing that bother me a little is that our five protagonists, even if they're bestfriends with each…
"Unfortunately Jun Wan hasn't shared who he was dating with anybody..."
His friends do not need to know her identity in order to provide support because her name and connection to Ik-jun do not factor into why he is sad and depressed. They never met her (as his girlfriend) and only knew her by a nickname. If she had not been Ik-jun's sister, would you still think it is important that they know her name?
Andrea has has a history of keeping things to himself until he's ready to share (or, in many cases, it gets discovered before he's ready to confide): his father's identity as chairman of the hospital, the Daddy-Long-Legs program, that he was planning to become a priest, that he was secretly developing feelings for Gyeol and doubting his decision to become a priest, etc. So it isn't surprising that he is choosing to keep his concerns about Gyeol to himself, and Jun-wan showed his support by silently drinking a beer with him and not pushing him to talk.
Ik-jun and Song-wha haven't told anyone about his confession because it could make the group dynamic awkward. In season one, episode one, we saw that bringing up Suk Hyung's confession was still an awkward conversation topic for the group twenty years after the fact, so clearly the group has an understanding about dating in the group that make Ik-jun and Song-wha want to keep it to themselves.

I think they were still living apart at that point because he got scammed and so she couldn't move to be closer to him as they had planned. After a quick Google search, it appears that Paju is not that far from Seoul, but given his work schedule it sounds like they still weren't able to see each other often.
As for couple rings, they are more like a way for newer couples to announce that they are in a relationship, more like becoming "Facebook official"...back when that was popular in Western cultures. So they are far less significant than engagement rings.
Ik Sun has hepatic cirrhosis.
