I started this drama because I love *Signal*, which is a masterpiece, and a lot of people were comparing it to that. To be honest, *Tunnel* has a long way to go to be on the same/similar level as *Signal*.
The first few episodes were hard to get into, but after that, I was hooked and on the edge of my seat and could not stop watching as the storyline was so interesting. It was a rollercoaster, and I loved it. Saying that, from episode 12, it gets kind of slow, and I was losing interest as they kept dragging the story with unnecessary twists. How the police could be so stupid and some dialogues didn't make sense. I wish they had made the drama shorter. The acting was okayish.
Also, they could have executed the ending a little better. I would love to see a flashback to the future to see how things changed.
Overall, it is a good watch as I loved the storyline, but it is a shame that it could have been a great drama if they had made it a 12-episode drama.
Many kdramas have the same problem. They make it way too long, full with flashbacks and needless over repeating.…
I have not seen Just between lovers. I will put it on my long watch list 🙂 I think shorter dramas are better quality nowadays but of course there are exceptions.
The drama kept me hooked at the beginning, but I have started losing interest after nine episodes. I wish they would make it shorter and not drag it to sixteen episodes. The drama is very predictable and sometimes hard to watch, but I have enjoyed it. I tried to finish the drama a few times, but sadly I skipped to the last episode as I could not carry on. It is a shame as I like Jun Ho, especially in *Red Sleeve*.
I just couldn't get into it. It didn't keep my attention as I kept wandering around instead of watching the drama. After three episodes, I decided to drop it as watching all sixteen episodes is too much. The drama is overrated.
It was so hard for me to keep watching. I just could not get into it. The story is unique, but for me, not well executed. The story kept repeating itself, and the characters are not very likeable, except for I Na; she is my favorite. The male lead is just running around acting like a douchebag, which is very annoying. I had no connection with the characters and did not care what would happen.
And, to be honest, the acting is nothing special. I did not like the execution of the time travel, the cinematography, or the OST; I hated it—it is terrible.
I tried, but I am dropping the drama midway. To be honest, I do not understand how the rating can be so high when there are much better shows with lower ratings.
This drama is a rollercoaster of emotions, and you never know what is going to happen next. There are so many twists and plots that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Despite the episodes being very long, I did not get bored. I finished the drama in one week. The pacing was just right—not too slow, not too fast.
The cinematography is great, as is the storyline. It is a very sad story of a slave who has to go through countless hardships to survive. I cannot even imagine how hard it must have been to live in the Joseon era. Also, the drama makes you laugh, as the servant team is just hilarious. I love how strong their bond is, and they always protect each other. The romance is great, and you will be rooting for them.
I loved the acting; everyone did a great job, but Young Woo was amazing. The way he played two characters… he slayed!
Also, I think the last episode was rushed, as everything was solved in the last 30 minutes. And without spoiling it, I did expect a different ending for him.
Finally, after *My Dearest*, there is another great historical drama. To be honest, it is not on the same level, but it is pretty good. I am surprised that it is not very popular, and it is a shame more people do not talk about it.
The drama was captivating, so I watched it in two days. Luckily, it is only six episodes. It's a nice concept that has been well-executed. I could not help but feel that sometimes the fighting scenes with the parasites seemed funny. I liked the ML and FL; they were a good team. The policewoman can be sometimes quite annoying, but she comes around at last.
I didn't see the magma, but the story makes sense without that knowledge. Overall, it is a good watch if you have spare time, but nothing special.
It has the best intro, love it! The drama is spot-on; it's bang, bang, bang..... action. ...medical surgery....humor (anus/no1)😀 . The pace is perfect; it's straight to the point, not wasting time with unnecessary plots and dialogues. I think it works so well because it has only eight episodes, and everything is sorted in a few minutes.
I was hooked from the beginning, and the drama went so fast. I finished it in one sitting. I love how Ji Hoon portrayed his character; he slayed the role (I read an interview in which he had a few conflicts with the director as he tried to put his ideas on how the comics should be conveyed as a drama), so I think he deserves credit for its success as well.
Also, I love how he slowly built his trauma team even when everyone and everything was against him. The acting is superb, as is the cinematography. I hope we will have another season soon.
It is a mature drama about relationships without sugarcoating. I was hooked from the start and could not stop watching it. The storytelling is great, as you will find out more about their past in each episode and understand them more. I don't know why the comments are so negative. I really like the drama.
The acting is amazing. Also, the production and cinematography are great. They did a great job with casting, as Hyun Jin and Gong Yoo are a perfect fit. I love their chemistry and the way they communicate with each other.
It will make you long for them and hope for him to get away from the toxic relationship. It will make your blood boil as well as it will make you happy to see glimmers of hope.
I recommend watching it if you want to see something totally different from a rom-com.
To be honest, I had a hard time staying focused as the drama did not interest me, but I stayed because the reviews and comments were good.
I did not like the acting of Nam Joo and Eun Woo. Their facial expressions said it all. It has an interesting storyline, but it is not executed very well. Also, the flashbacks were very annoying. Not sure why the director needed to put them in every episode; you always see the same story from the past. So I lost interest and decided not to force myself to watch and dropped the drama.
I think the drama is very popular because of Eun Woo, but his acting is still not there. He is just not a gifted actor like others, so he will have to work hard to improve.
So that crazy man child actually becomes a better person? I want justice for the married couple and their baby
I don't remember the details as it was quite a while ago. Yes, you will see his character development through the season. Also he is not the main villan behind the system that Namjoong is trying to end.
I think this is the best comedy-drama I have seen. If you need something light, it is the right drama for you. I have not laughed so much in a very long time. I love how the actors brought each character to life. In one word…hilarious!
I love the way they are sorting the cases and how they are related to them, so we will find out more about their lives. It's a lovely journey of them becoming a family and to see how they care about each other.
I thought 20 episodes was too much; I thought I would get bored, but not even one episode lost my attention. They did a great job of keeping it light even in serious situations or when dealing with issues, and combined it with a comedy factor. It is just perfect. The acting and production are great. I hope there will be another season.
You will fall in love with this crazy bloody family. It has a unique and interesting storyline and is fun to watch, full of action, and you won't get bored. The acting was great, and they all fit well as a family.
I was hooked from the beginning and binge-watched the drama. I wish the drama were longer, as it's often the opposite. I love the dark humor and the unseriousness of the drama.
Six episodes are not enough! The ending is open, so I hope we will get a second season soon.
Same, I was so scared of the women that could grow tall, but then I learned her story, and I was crying so much…
I love how the ghost's ghost slowly unfold, and you learn about their past. Yes, it was sad/happy to see how she sacrificed her life to be with her lover. I am currently watching Family Matters, which is not so light but it's so good.
The first four episodes, you think it's a scary horror and wonder what is going on, but once episode 5 hits, you're like WTF and you cannot move because you are so hooked. The plot twist is amazing and will blow your mind. It is awesome to see the story unfold, and with each episode, you discover something new. I cannot say more without spoiling it for you. You just have to watch it! This drama has the best storytelling.
The production and screenwriting are amazing. I haven't seen such a good plot twist in a long time. I love how they make you think it's a normal horror story, but they lead you, and you just have to say WOW.
The drama will leave a lasting impression on me for a long time. The post-credits scene is probably setting up a new season of *Moving*. I cannot wait.
I was hooked from the first episode, as the drama keeps you entertained all the time. There is no boring moment or bad scene or useless character. The drama has great screenwriting, and the director has done a superb job. The drama will make you laugh and will make you cry.
I have to say Do Hwan was perfect for this role; he slayed! I am really impressed with his performance, and their chemistry is amazing. They took us on an amazing journey, even though we knew it would not be a happy ending. I loved the dynamic of the drama and all the characters.
Even though you will cry your eyes out in the last episode, it's worth it. Do Hwan's acting was phenomenal. It will stay with me for a long time.
Finally, we got another season. I was so looking forward to it. I loved Gong Yoo as the recruiter; he portrayed the role perfectly. I liked all the new characters, especially TOP, as he weirdly brightened the atmosphere of the drama. My favorite characters were Sung Hoon and Kang Ha Neul.
The drama did not have the same wow factor as the first season. Maybe because I knew what to expect. It was nice to see them add new games and that Player 001 joined the game. Also, I did not really like Player 456's obsession with the man in the black mask, as it became a little annoying.
Overall, it's a good watch, and it will be interesting to see how they end it.
To be honest, I was expecting much more from this drama. The start was great, but the drama became boring very quickly, so I had to start skipping scenes. I really liked the past story mixed with the present. I wasn't keen on the idol part, as it was not very interesting and did not add much to the story. Also, I loved the brothers, but I was not a fan of the main female lead, as I did not like her portrayal of the character. I would prefer it if they concentrated more on the brothers' story. The drama has a great concept but failed to execute it well. Also, they could have done a better job of lip-singing, as every time the female lead sang, it felt strange. For me, it was a waste a time.
