hi! this series is on my watchlist for a long time and reading your review makes me want to watch this one especially…
I love Way Back love and you are right it needs more recognition. It's always shame that some dramas that are not even good are more popular just because they have famous/handsome actors in it. Anyway I really like Season of blossom 😊 Even it is not on the same level as WBL it's still beautiful watch that will make you cry.
I liked the story and development of their relationship, but toward the end, I had to start skipping scenes as it got a little boring. Their chemistry was great, though. I think all the problems were sorted too fast toward the end. To be honest, I think the drama is overrated.
Beautiful story of O Ae Sun and Gwan Sik, who love each other dearly and do everything for their family. The cinematography and acting are amazing.
The storytelling is awesome, and I love how they managed to switch between the past and present storylines. It is perfect. It is so hard to watch as their life was/is so hard, and all the hardships they endure. Even with sixteen long episodes, it is easy to watch, and you do not get bored. I was hooked from the beginning and could not stop watching it. To be honest, I did not like IU's character at the beginning at all; she was screaming and hysterically crying all the time. I am glad I stuck with it as it is a great drama, but be prepared as it is not a typical fairytale but a realistic portrayal family's hardships. I think I need to watch something light and happy now.
I love this drama as it made me feel emotion from the first episode. I like how they switch from the past to the present. It is a very emotional story about love, guilt, and friendship. From the beginning, you know it is a sad story, but you will still cry your eyes out. I love Seo Ji Hoon's acting. He was also great in *Begins Youth*. I wish to see him in more dramas.
What will hit hard is the fact that it is very realistic and how people who are left behind are, or have to deal with, guilt. I like how we are getting slowly to know Ha Min and So Mang's relationship, even if it makes it more painful. Their interactions were my favorite part of the drama. It is sad to see how parents push their children to the limit and do not think about the consequences until it is too late.
I was expecting much more from it, as I was looking forward to this drama. The storyline is great, but the production and editing are not good. It would be much better if they made a proper drama, as it's basically a movie split into six episodes. So we could have proper storytelling that takes time, so you can feel for the characters instead of jumping from one scene to another. The villain was my favorite character, as Hyun Wook portrayed him perfectly. I did not bond with the characters as it was chaotic, rushed, and all over the place. Now I'm really upset, as the actors did a great job, but the execution is not there. If they make a season three, I hope this time they will do it properly.
I bridged the drama over two days as I could not stop watching it. The cinematography and acting are amazing. To be honest, Jae Wook was born to play i daesang; it suits him perfectly. I love the storyline and how slowly we are getting to the truth. Not a single episode was boring. The chemistry between the leads is awesome! I love the bond Jae I and Hong Rang had. Their eyes speak for themselves. The fighting scenes were great as well. It was a real surprise to see the real villain, as he had my blood boiling every time he appeared. I will not say more to avoid spoilers.
The OST is great, so fitting to the drama. It is not a typical drama; it is dark, and with each episode, there is more suffering, but it is a beautiful story of two people who try to protect each other. The last episode was very emotional.
I was so looking forward to this drama as I was so excited after reading such positive comments and the rating was high. After the first few episodes, I was like, okaaay… I kept watching but caught myself not really focusing on the drama, and instead, I ended up here to check the comments again. I found the drama so boring. The story is interesting but badly executed. I liked how realistic it was as a story of normal people. Also, the production is nothing special. The constant flashbacks were so annoying as well. As it has 16 long episodes, I dropped the drama at episode 6. It's a shame, as I really liked Gang Du's character, who was cold and savvy but had a good heart. For me the drama is overrated.
Good thriller with a good storyline. My favorite character was Detective Seong Jun. The female lead was quite annoying; toward the end, I could not stand her. The atmosphere is great, so it's a shame the drama is not quite there. To be honest, I did not expect the plot twist and was surprised, as usually, you can guess who the killer is. It's a nice watch, and it's only six episodes. If it were better written, it could have been a great thriller.
The first few episodes were great; I was very excited about the drama, and I loved the storyline. As time passed, I lost focus and was not drawn to the drama, and I did not care about the characters. The episodes were especially long and started to drag, and I was getting bored. I think if they had taken a different direction, it would have been more interesting. The storyline was getting weaker, and each episode felt never-ending.
The production is great, as is the acting. especially Jin Goo did an amazing job portraying both characters. I really tried to keep watching it but gave up at episode 9 as I did not have the will to watch the remaining 8 episodes.
To be honest, it cannot compare to *Red Sleeve*, which was amazing. It has the same length, but I was so invested in the story and felt for the characters. The same actress appears in both dramas, but she did not leave any impression on me in this one.
I was so excited for this drama, especially since its rating was so high, but I was disappointed. The production felt off, and the acting was okayish. The story was interesting but not executed very well. I pushed myself to continue each episode, as I was losing focus and getting bored. I dropped it at the sixth episode. In my opinion, the drama is overrated.
Great crime drama, with a slow pace and not much action. Instead, you get to know the characters and feel for them, rooting for them. I was on the edge of my seat as the suspense and atmosphere building were amazing. I love how they uncovered the truth bit by bit. The production and screenwriting are amazing. Also I like how they connected the past and present. The acting was great, especially Park Hoon, who did a great job portraying his character. I loved the friendship between Young Jin and Eun Ho, as well as the rest of their friends; they became like a family. The villains did an amazing job; I kind of felt sorry for them. Definitely recommend watching it if you are looking for a drama that concentrates on emotion instead of action.
Here I am nearing the end of episode 2 and I had to came on here to see exactly why this has an 8.6 score. I thought…
Yes? the last episode was probably the best one as they finally sorted the mess and everything became more clear but it was difficult to get to that point.
The story is interesting but badly executed. My favorite thing in this drama is Ji Hun's friends; they are hilarious, and I love Ji Hun's character; he always makes me smile. He is so cute. On the other hand, Do Ba U is getting on my nerves, especially toward episode 7. To be honest, the writing is bad. The ending of episode 7 had my blood boiling, as did episode 8, because after all the fuss he made, he suddenly changed his mind. Waste of time.
I know, there isn’t any romance, but do the female lead and the male lead have a good chemistry? I mean, do…
To be honest I do not remember if there was much chemistry but I think there was kind of bromance if I remember correctly and I dropped the drama midway.

there is not much emotions between the leads or chemistry, it's more friendship. If you are looking for something with great emotions try Way back love...i was crying the whole time, it's just on another level. Or the great chemistry had Mr. Plankton.
Not sure if it's just me, but I think it's overrated. It's only seven episodes, but it took me ages to finish. It's a nice story about coming-of-age and teenagers' first love, who are glued to their phones. It's kind of sad to see the new generation living their lives through phones. Nothing much happened except people switching partners in their friend group. I didn't feel any connection to them and didn't really care who would end up with whom. The acting was good, as was the realistic production.
Overall, it's a realistic BL drama that didn't impress me or leave any feeling after finishing it except...finally.

This drama will stay with me for a long time.
This drama is similar to *Way Back Love*.
