I was so excited for this drama, especially since its rating was so high, but I was disappointed. The production felt off, and the acting was okayish. The story was interesting but not executed very well. I pushed myself to continue each episode, as I was losing focus and getting bored. I dropped it at the sixth episode. In my opinion, the drama is overrated.
Great crime drama, with a slow pace and not much action. Instead, you get to know the characters and feel for them, rooting for them. I was on the edge of my seat as the suspense and atmosphere building were amazing. I love how they uncovered the truth bit by bit. The production and screenwriting are amazing. Also I like how they connected the past and present. The acting was great, especially Park Hoon, who did a great job portraying his character. I loved the friendship between Young Jin and Eun Ho, as well as the rest of their friends; they became like a family. The villains did an amazing job; I kind of felt sorry for them. Definitely recommend watching it if you are looking for a drama that concentrates on emotion instead of action.
Here I am nearing the end of episode 2 and I had to came on here to see exactly why this has an 8.6 score. I thought…
Yes? the last episode was probably the best one as they finally sorted the mess and everything became more clear but it was difficult to get to that point.
The story is interesting but badly executed. My favorite thing in this drama is Ji Hun's friends; they are hilarious, and I love Ji Hun's character; he always makes me smile. He is so cute. On the other hand, Do Ba U is getting on my nerves, especially toward episode 7. To be honest, the writing is bad. The ending of episode 7 had my blood boiling, as did episode 8, because after all the fuss he made, he suddenly changed his mind. Waste of time.
I know, there isn’t any romance, but do the female lead and the male lead have a good chemistry? I mean, do…
To be honest I do not remember if there was much chemistry but I think there was kind of bromance if I remember correctly and I dropped the drama midway.
I know, there isn’t any romance, but do the female lead and the male lead have a good chemistry? I mean, do…
there is not much emotions between the leads or chemistry, it's more friendship. If you are looking for something with great emotions try Way back love...i was crying the whole time, it's just on another level. Or the great chemistry had Mr. Plankton.
Not sure if it's just me, but I think it's overrated. It's only seven episodes, but it took me ages to finish. It's a nice story about coming-of-age and teenagers' first love, who are glued to their phones. It's kind of sad to see the new generation living their lives through phones. Nothing much happened except people switching partners in their friend group. I didn't feel any connection to them and didn't really care who would end up with whom. The acting was good, as was the realistic production.
Overall, it's a realistic BL drama that didn't impress me or leave any feeling after finishing it except...finally.
I just could not get into it. The production was not really good, and the acting was average. It's an interesting story, but after four long episodes, I gave up and dropped the drama.
Wow, what a ride! I binge-watched it in one go. The acting was great, especially Park Ji Hoon—his eyes could tell the whole story. It was so sad to see Si Eun struggling and feeling guilty about Su Ho. It was nice to see his journey to get better and make new friends. Ryeon Un has undergone a great transformation in his character, but I don't know if it's the weight he gained, but he looked so old that he didn't look like a student. The villains are on another level compared to season 1. Jun Young did an amazing job portraying Seon Ke.
To be honest, I think eight episodes are not enough; it was very fast-paced, but in my opinion, the story lacked depth. Like, at the end, everyone was crying, but I didn't feel it. The backstory was missing, so I couldn't connect with the characters and sympathize with them. On the other hand, the fight scenes were amazing—so good. My favorite is the rooftop fight with Seong Je and Si Eun; my heart almost stopped—it was so intense.
To compare it to season 1, I think season 2 is not on the same level. The production and fights are great, but season 1 focused more on the friendships and the characters' stories, which was missing in season 2. I wish there were a few more episodes to make the story perfect.
OMG, the ending...finally! I was hoping to see more interaction, so hopefully, we will get a season 3.
I enjoyed watching the drama; the production and acting were great. The storyline was good, but after finishing it, I felt like something was missing. Also, I didn't really care for the characters.
In the first half of the drama, the story is better as it's about the black market and operations, but afterward, the story concentrates on the love-hate relationship between a teacher and student. Eun Bin's acting is amazing; I really disliked her character, which was very annoying, and she was overreacting like a spoiled child. It's like watching a psycho Tom & Jerry. Also, I don't think there was one normal character; everyone was psycho. In the last few episodes, I liked the more mature interaction between Se Ok and Deok Hui, who does everything to protect her, but I would prefer to see more of his character development. The ending was perfect; it made me smile.
Overall its a good watch but could have been great! Its a psycho thriller that you will forget the next day.
What a journey! The drama had me on the edge of my seat. I have to say the storyline is just perfect, and you don't get bored at all. I would say the exact opposite; as the 12 episodes finished, I was like, "Watch! I want more!" The production, colors, and acting are great. I like the M&A and how they fought against the whole company. Ju No's negotiation skills are just on another level. I like how they got through every task, which always helped someone in the end. It was not only about getting money but they put their heart into it as well. Some of the executives had my blood boiling, especially the chairman and Ha Tae, as they did not understand that they were trying to save the company and that meant their jobs. Money takes the heart......
The ending was perfect. It made me scream and laugh at the same time as he walked through the door. Also, it's a great opening for another season, if there will be one. I am a little surprised that the rating is so low and it's not very popular. It reminds me of *Hot Stove League*, which is one of my favorite dramas.
I really enjoyed it. I'm hoping Ram Woo didn't actually disappear or breaking the rules. I'm hoping that he just…
Me too. till the last minute I was hopping they will be together. That he will be reborn as a new person and will meet with her or she will join him and become grind reaper as well.
I love it so much! It's a beautiful story with a great cast and plot that makes you binge-watch the drama in one go. The first half made me laugh, and the second half made me cry (I have never cried so much). I love their teenage love story, which was beautifully written, and you slowly get to know what happened. The length of the drama is just perfect. Until the end, I didn't know what the ending would be. I was hoping for a miracle ending, but the actual ending was even sadder, knowing that... I will not spoil the end. Finally, a proper emotional drama that I have seen in a while. It's a shame that it is not more popular, and the rating should be much higher. This drama will stay in my memory for a long time.
If you are looking for a nice watch with a typical villain and a magical resolution to the plot, this is the drama for you. It is easy to watch, with a great team that tried to fight the bad guys. My favorite part was how they became close, like a family. Do not expect too much; just enjoy the ride.
The story is nice and easy to follow, with great team-building. For me, twelve episodes was too much, as bored towards the end.
I didn't like the pacing of the drama. The cases were interesting, but the biggest part of the drama was Shin's singing, which I really disliked, and the trio's life. I kept skipping sceens and dropped it.
Well, I was expecting much more from the drama. I was so excited as the story was very interesting, but it didn't deliver. I liked how they introduced each character and how connected they were. The plot twists were great, but something was missing. To be honest, I didn't care about the characters, and it all felt flat. There was no excitement or thrill, making me hesitant to quickly watch the next episode. Luckily, it only has six episodes. On the other hand, I liked seeing that karma existed and how satisfying it was. The acting was great and the best part of the drama.
I am really disappointed. I was so looking forward to this drama as Woo Shik is one of my favorite actors. It's so boring. I forced myself to finish it as I had no other option because I watched it on the flight.
Also, the story is very realistic, but it seems absurd that he did not even text her about what was happening, and the lack of communication is frustrating. I hoped it would get better after a few more episodes, but no. Ten episodes never felt so long. The brothers' story was very sad to watch, but that is it. I did not care about the main couple, and the chemistry was missing. To be honest, it was a wasted 10 hours.
Definitely recommend watching it if you are looking for a drama that concentrates on emotion instead of action.
