It was the first real-life BL drama I had seen, and it was so good. It's not a typical, idealized love story; instead, it portrays people with flaws and the ups and downs of a relationship. In some scenes, you can recognize small details that can be found in any relationship. The acting was great, especially Yoon Su, who did an excellent job. I am glad that, finally, a Korean production company has made a proper BL drama, even though some people tried to boycott it. Well, it's a first step.
I loved the story of his loved ones throughout his life. Yeongs life was bot easy at first he had to deal with his mother as she would.not accept his sexuality and after that we can see his ex partners and his straggle but lucky he has a great group of the friends who are there for him.
You can feel the emotion in the last episode as we see flashbacks of his memories with Gyu Ho. He realizes that Gyu Ho was his true love, but he hadn't recognized it. It must have been so hard for him to live with Kylie, especially since he only told one person about it. I was rooting for Yeong and Gyu Ho and was hoping until the last minute that they would meet again. I think he finally realized what he lost and moved out of the student apartment, as he was never ready to do that since it was his happy place with Mi Ae and Gyu Ho.
Wow, it was perfect in every way. Even though it is a long drama, not a single episode was boring. The acting was great, as well as the production.
The storyline is awesome, even more heartbreaking as the love story between the king and the court maid is based on a true story. To think about it, life inside the palace walls was basically a game of survival and politics, and not really living.
I loved their interaction at the beginning, as it was fun to watch. Their interactions made me giggle. It was heartbreaking to watch the relationship between the king and the crown prince. They are family, but also the ruler and his successor. Later on, San will find out that it is hard to make a decision, especially when many lives depend on it. His journey was very hard, and he had to get through so many obstacles, so it was great that he had one person he could share all his worries with inside the palace and rely on. The last episode broke my heart. My eyes could not stop watering.
********spoiler*******
He must have been so in love with her, as he waited for her acceptance for 15 years, and she refused him the first time. If anyone else had done that, the result would have been death.I cannot imagine how hard it must have been for him to lose his son and, a few months later, his beloved wife. After I finished the drama, I did some research about the king. He had more wives, but he only visited them on the days that were set, while he visited Uibin almost every day. He also personally wrote an epitaph in which he stated that she is the only one he loved. He built his sons and Uibin's tombs next to each other and planted almost 30 thousand trees. After her death, he became a workaholic and did not take care of his health, and passed away before his 50s. And it was the beginning of the end of a great era. Sedo politics were ruling the country, corruption was everywhere, and the people of Joseon were suffering. So it was the last good era for the people for a few centuries. If you think about it... if Uibin had agreed to become his concubine at first, everything would have changed, and his son would have ruled the country after him, and history would have been different. Well...it's all.just speculation.
What a nice surprise! I got hooked from the first episodes and was rooting for Yi Heon as he tried his best to put things right. It was refreshing to see someone teaching others the right way of life, and he was spreading his wisdom. I loved his friendship with Se Kyung and the positive influence he had on him. It is nice to have a friend you can rely on and who wants only the best for you. I liked the storyline, and the ending was satisfying for me as everyone was punished (that does not happen very often), and he could fulfill his dream of becoming a student.
It was a really nice easy watch, especially as it was refreshing to see the story in reverse, as we saw the worst happen at the beginning and after that things got better and better. No stress.
Those things will be resolved in the next season. At least it was a proper ending even if the season 2 never happens.
To be honest I do even prefer the open ending of Stay with me as it was great journey with Wubi & Su Yu then this messy drama with kind of closed ending.
So, this drama is probably the worst one I have ever seen. The screenwriting, production, storyline, and effects are so bad that it is hard to believe that it is a Korean drama. I did not really care about the characters, and the only positive thing I found was the flashback from their past. The first episode was so hard for me to watch, but I gave it a chance. However, I had to drop it at episode 4 as I could not waste my time any longer.
To be honest, I do not understand how the rating can be so high.
I don't understand why the rating is so low. I'm glad that I read the comments that were praising the drama as it is truly amazing.
The storyline is great and it makes you hooked from the beginning and you will be on the edge of your seat until the end. I loved the suspense as you do not know what they are going to do next.
The acting was superb. The trio did a great job. It is a sad story of Jun Seong and Jae Hyun who are pushed to their limits to do bad things as they are in a desperate situation. To be honest, I do understand Jae Hyun's choice as his only option for him to lead a normal life was to become a doctor as he has no one to take care of him. I do sympathize with them and was rooting for them as well and was wishing for a good ending for them even though I kind of knew it wouldn't end well. Also, you can see the cruelty of rich people and that the law doesn't really exist as they can do whatever they want and will not be punished.
The legal drama series follows a team of lawyers who tackle various cases while dealing with personal struggles. The focus is on attorney Cha Eun's divorce.
I really like the storyline where they work on a different case each episode and the message at the end of each case. It is nice to see different perspectives and stories. I love the team and how they always support each other; I would say they have become a family. Also, Na Ra's performance was great.
Despite the resolution of the main plot by episode 12, the show maintains its quality until the end.
You do not need to watch episode 0, as it is a waste of time and gives away spoilers.
It is a nice, no-brainer drama that is easy to watch if you need something to clear your head. The first half was very good, and I was hooked. I thought, "What is wrong with people?" as the comments were not very nice, and then I understood why. The drama became more difficult to watch in the second half. The plot gets really crazy, with unnecessary twists, so I had to start skipping scenes to get through to the end. It is a shame, as it could have been a really great rom-com if they had stuck with the quality of the first half of the drama.
To be honest, I did not like the older brother character. He was selfish and did not think of others, and I found him annoying. The last episode was just a mess and not a very nice way to end the drama.
One word: WOW!!! It is one of my favorite dramas now. Finally, a perfect drama that I watched in a few days as I could not stop. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time as the story unfolded perfectly. The acting was superb, especially Jo Han, as you could feel his pain.
The storyline and pace were perfect. I have to say, it was hard to watch the drama, but in a good way, as you witness all the mistreatment of Jeong, and it will make your blood boil and your heart will be racing as everyone is against him. It was so sad to see all his loved ones betray him because of jealousy or personal gain. The more the story unfolded, the more shocked I was to see no guilt or remorse. I loved his friendship with the detective. He was the only glimpse of hope and the only thing that kept me sane. Also, I really liked the FL; she was the only one who believed him.
The ending was so satisfying as he finally found his peace, even though he will carry all the wrongdoings in his heart forever.
The storyline was very interesting, and it was engaging to see how the events would unfold and whether justice could be served. The beginning of the drama was good, but it became slow and a bit draggy in the middle.
Honestly, the judge was incredibly annoying. He practically begged the gangster to spare his life multiple times, promising to do anything, yet he repeatedly stabbed the gangster in the back without considering the consequences, all to save his reputation. I despised his character. Moreover, the entire situation arose because of his son, who disregarded the consequences of his actions and their impact on others.
The ending was very fitting, as a punishment that causes immense suffering is preferable to justice.
Funny how different people tastes are 😂 I wanted to come here again, because I saw a snippet of this drama…
Yes, everyone's taste is different. The best way for me to see if the drama is worth watching is to read the comments and see the peoples opinion as a lot of times the rating of a great drama on MDL is about 7 or 8. I am glad you did not forget it. 🙂
I liked the plot, but it was too draggy, and it was difficult to maintain focus, so in the end, I had to keep skipping scenes.
I only finished the drama because of the bond that the main leads had, as it was the best part of the drama. For me, it was too long and not very engaging, as you could guess what would happen next.
If you want to watch something where you just want to switch off your brain or have something in the background, this is the perfect drama for you.
The drama started with a unique and well-executed storyline but became confusing in the second half. To be honest, I had no idea what was going on—which storyline was the real one? What was happening? In the end, it all made sense, but it was kind of disappointing. Also, they could have done a better job of editing the scenes. It is a real shame as the drama started really strong.
On the other hand, the acting was superb, especially the second leads, Korn and Tonkla, who stole the show. The intimate scenes were 🔥
Overall, it was an average BL drama that could have been great if executed differently.
An average drama that you will forget in a few days The first five episodes were challenging to watch as I genuinely disliked Dong Joo's behavior, but it improved. However, it was still too draggy for me, and I found it difficult to maintain my attention. I enjoyed the storyline and especially the bond between the male leads, as it was the highlight of the drama.
I was disappointed that everything was resolved in the last episode without any complications. It was too simplistic. I think it would have been more satisfying to see more of Kang San's superpowers.
This beautiful, slow-paced, and gentle BL drama follows the developing closeness and affection between two teenage boys, Tian and Wang, who are unaware of or unwilling to acknowledge their feelings for each other.
I love the bond these two build over time. The way Tian always cares for Wang ❤️. Also, they do not need words to communicate.
The drama concludes as their journey of self-discovery is about to begin. I hope there will be a second season!
It has a great storyline, and I like how they introduce new cases every two episodes, and it all leads to the closure of the main plot. It is nice to see how the team comes together and works to beat the corruption. I love the way Ha Kyun portrays his character; it is perfect. I love the interaction between Sin Cha and Dae Ugn, and I wish we could see more of it. It was fun to watch, and I was hooked from the first episode.
The acting was great, especially Ha Kyun, as he carried the show.
The drama reminds me a little bit of Hot Stove League, which I absolutely love.
It is mind blowing drama.with well written scripts. My mind was left stunned as I watched the intense power struggle between Dong Ho and Soo Ji. It was incredible. When you think that there is no way Dong Ho will get through it, he finds another way. I could not stop watching as I was drawn to the story from the first episode.
The acting is superb, and the main leads did a great job. The drama is fast-paced, so you do not get bored even though it is about politics. It is a written masterpiece that will captivate you with its unexpected twists and turns. The ending emphasizes the limitations of relying solely on truth in achieving victory.
After watching it, you realize...oh no, it is not fiction; this is the real world we live in, as corruption is everywhere, and justice is just a word because if you have money, you have power, and if you have power, you are untouchable.
I am not even surprised that the rating is so low, as most non-rocom or non-famous handsome actors have ratings below or slightly above 8.
Too slow-paced but great concept. It was too hard for me to watch as it was very slow-paced, especially the first half of the drama. The second half was slightly better. I did not find it very violent as I read in a comment. To be honest, I have seen worse. The violence is on a normal level.
I love the message behind the drama as it effectively portrays the harsh reality where the wealthy can exploit the lower class without repercussions. The lower class will always suffer, and some will do anything to get money. Long live capitalism!
The acting is great, and number 8 was a nice surprise.
The ending was not that satisfying, but I guess the end is very realistic.
Although the storyline has great potential, comparable to "Squid Games," the execution falls short, hindering its overall impact.
The acting was great, especially Yoon Su, who did an excellent job.

Their acting felt a little bit odd, especially Poppy's. The storyline was all over the place, and the production was nothing special.
The ending feels unfinished as there are still a lot of things to be resolved. Please do not waste your time.
To be honest, I do not understand how the rating can be so high.
