I was so excited about this drama; the cast is great, and the plot seems interesting, but I was quite disappointed. The storyline was weak, and I had a hard time getting past episode 7, as the drama did not maintain my interest, and I did not connect with any of the characters. It is a shame, as the acting is great, and it could have been a great story if better executed. Once I stopped watching it, I could not bring myself to return to it, so I dropped the drama.

To be honest, I wasn't going to watch it as it is all female-centered, and the description of the story did not interest me. But after reading so many good reviews, I'm so happy I did. Not a single minute I was bored.

Wow, I did not feel this connection with characters in a long time. I was crying with them and laughing with them. I was hooked and felt the emotions of the story from the first minute and could not stop watching it. It is a beautiful story with exceptional production and awesome screenwriting. Also, it is one of the few dramas I thought was too short and wished for more episodes.

The acting of Tae Ri is just on a different level; not that the other actors haven't done a great job, but she is just fire. I wish she would have more projects lined up.

It is truly a masterpiece and one of the best dramas I have watched! I still can't get over it.

It's a nice drama to watch, with great acting from Chang Wook and Hye Sun, but the storyline was quite weak. I liked the concept of healing in one's hometown, with the support of loved ones. I especially loved how Yong Pil was trying to win her over; that was cute. On the other hand, I hated his father, as his character was purely defined by hate and stubbornness, which destroyed his son's relationship. I find it ridiculous how suddenly he changed.

I had a hard time staying focused, especially in the middle of the drama, as some parts were boring. I thought the screenwriting could have been better, and perhaps fewer episodes would have helped.

I had such high hopes, as people were comparing it to *Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha*, which I love, but it is not on the same level.

It is a great drama with a heartbreaking story. It makes you think about the world we live in and how people are barely surviving while the powerful and wealthy are taking advantage of it. The saying is right: "Money rules the world." You don't really know what life people are living behind closed doors.

The story is based on real events, and the production team and screenwriter did a fantastic job in their research, even working as a driver for a call girl to tell the story accurately. Well, it is not happening only in Korea but all over the world, but ordinary people have no chance to beat them.

The acting was superb, especially Chang Wook and Bibi. I was so happy to see them together again.

For me, the first half of the drama was perfect, as the second half's storyline was not as good. Also, Dongu became very annoying as he suddenly started to care because his daughter became one of them. They should not have made Gil Ho immortal, as it takes away realism. The fighting scenes were great and very realistic. I loved the Gil Ho knife work. It's definitely a great fast-paced short drama.

Title Queen Woo
It's a fast-paced historical drama based on real events. It all happens in 24 hours, so there is a lot of action, plotting, and tactics. It's interesting to see how the events are going to turn out as life beside palace walls is a matter of life or death. I like that the queen is a great tactician and thinks a few steps ahead.

I did not mind the sexual scenes as they fit well in the drama. They could make more episodes to fully develop the characters. The acting was great, except for Jong Seon, as she does not fit in the drama. I can't help but feel her expression is just ruining the experience for me. Chang Woo and Soo Hyuk did a great job portraying the king and the crazy prince.

Apart from that, I really enjoyed the drama. It was a great watch, but I don't like that it ended at the best part. And I am not sure if we are getting a season 2.

Hows the corruption in here? I tend to avoid corruption drama as they're always heavy.
I'd I remember correctly there is a lot of corruption that it makes hard for the police to catch the bad guys but the main lead always find a way to win the case. The way the drama is produced is more on the light side. So it is not so heavy as in other dramas.

Title Doubt
It is a difficult journey of a family where you can see what happens when trust is lost and seeds of doubt are planted. It also shows how important communication is.

The most perfect plot that I have ever seen. I was hooked from the first episode and finished the drama in two days. I love how they reveal the truth gradually in each episode, and we get to know who the culprit is, or at least we think we do, as it is impossible to guess till the end.

Compared to other dramas where you can identify the culprit after a few episodes, in this one, it is impossible, and there is a new plot twist almost every episode. It makes your brain work and doubt everything you see. Hats off to the screenwriting, as it is flawless. Also, the director has done a great job of maintaining the suspense throughout the drama, and the cinematography and soundtrack are perfect. Of course, I cannot forget to mention the amazing performances of Seok Kyu and Won Bin.

I do not think it is too slow-paced. For me, it is perfect as it builds the atmosphere and slowly uncovers the truth. It is not like the usual thrillers where there is a lot of action and predictability.

I am disappointed that the rating is so low, and not many people talk about this masterpiece.

It's sooo good, I fell for them after the second episode. I love how they try to protect each other, especially from the abusive father. And it's nice to see Do Hoe smile when he is with Yu Young, as his life was so hard and he had to endure a lot.
I wish that the drama had stuck to the story in their teenage years, as the 10-year later jump is not that interesting and it doesn't have the same charm. It's a real shame, as the first two episodes were perfect.
In the end, I understand why Do Hoe behaved terribly, and we got a lively last episode, but it does not compensate for the middle part.
Overall, it's a nice story that could have been beautiful.

And I thought I was the odd one. It did have its moments and potential though -- a concept to be further explored…
I am glad it is not only me 🙂

I didn't enjoy the drama as much as I had hoped. The beginning was promising, and the main female lead carried the show with her excellent portrayal of her character. However, the second half became increasingly ridiculous, with the plot taking a nosedive. It's a shame because the storyline had potential. Additionally, the romance between the characters felt forced and lacked chemistry. The behavior of the main lead was inconsistent and his character seemed poorly developed. As a result, I started to lose interest and found it difficult to stay focused on the show. Also the open ending was unnecessary.

It was the first real-life BL drama I had seen, and it was so good. It's not a typical, idealized love story; instead, it portrays people with flaws and the ups and downs of a relationship. In some scenes, you can recognize small details that can be found in any relationship.
The acting was great, especially Yoon Su, who did an excellent job.
I am glad that, finally, a Korean production company has made a proper BL drama, even though some people tried to boycott it. Well, it's a first step.

I loved the story of his loved ones throughout his life. Yeongs life was bot easy at first he had to deal with his mother as she would.not accept his sexuality and after that we can see his ex partners and his straggle but lucky he has a great group of the friends who are there for him.

You can feel the emotion in the last episode as we see flashbacks of his memories with Gyu Ho. He realizes that Gyu Ho was his true love, but he hadn't recognized it. It must have been so hard for him to live with Kylie, especially since he only told one person about it. I was rooting for Yeong and Gyu Ho and was hoping until the last minute that they would meet again. I think he finally realized what he lost and moved out of the student apartment, as he was never ready to do that since it was his happy place with Mi Ae and Gyu Ho.

Wow, it was perfect in every way. Even though it is a long drama, not a single episode was boring. The acting was great, as well as the production.

The storyline is awesome, even more heartbreaking as the love story between the king and the court maid is based on a true story. To think about it, life inside the palace walls was basically a game of survival and politics, and not really living.

I loved their interaction at the beginning, as it was fun to watch. Their interactions made me giggle. It was heartbreaking to watch the relationship between the king and the crown prince. They are family, but also the ruler and his successor. Later on, San will find out that it is hard to make a decision, especially when many lives depend on it. His journey was very hard, and he had to get through so many obstacles, so it was great that he had one person he could share all his worries with inside the palace and rely on. The last episode broke my heart. My eyes could not stop watering.

********spoiler*******

He must have been so in love with her, as he waited for her acceptance for 15 years, and she refused him the first time. If anyone else had done that, the result would have been death.I cannot imagine how hard it must have been for him to lose his son and, a few months later, his beloved wife.
After I finished the drama, I did some research about the king. He had more wives, but he only visited them on the days that were set, while he visited Uibin almost every day. He also personally wrote an epitaph in which he stated that she is the only one he loved. He built his sons and Uibin's tombs next to each other and planted almost 30 thousand trees. After her death, he became a workaholic and did not take care of his health, and passed away before his 50s. And it was the beginning of the end of a great era. Sedo politics were ruling the country, corruption was everywhere, and the people of Joseon were suffering. So it was the last good era for the people for a few centuries. If you think about it... if Uibin had agreed to become his concubine at first, everything would have changed, and his son would have ruled the country after him, and history would have been different. Well...it's all.just speculation.

What a nice surprise! I got hooked from the first episodes and was rooting for Yi Heon as he tried his best to put things right. It was refreshing to see someone teaching others the right way of life, and he was spreading his wisdom. I loved his friendship with Se Kyung and the positive influence he had on him. It is nice to have a friend you can rely on and who wants only the best for you. I liked the storyline, and the ending was satisfying for me as everyone was punished (that does not happen very often), and he could fulfill his dream of becoming a student.

It was a really nice easy watch, especially as it was refreshing to see the story in reverse, as we saw the worst happen at the beginning and after that things got better and better. No stress.

Those things will be resolved in the next season. At least it was a proper ending even if the season 2 never happens.
I do understand especially if you know there is no another season.

To be honest I do even prefer the open ending of Stay with me as it was great journey with Wubi & Su Yu then this messy drama with kind of closed ending.

I was expecting much more from this adaptation of the novel. To be honest, it is the worst version I have seen. "Stay with Me" is my favorite one ❤️

Their acting felt a little bit odd, especially Poppy's. The storyline was all over the place, and the production was nothing special.

The ending feels unfinished as there are still a lot of things to be resolved. Please do not waste your time.

So, this drama is probably the worst one I have ever seen. The screenwriting, production, storyline, and effects are so bad that it is hard to believe that it is a Korean drama. I did not really care about the characters, and the only positive thing I found was the flashback from their past. The first episode was so hard for me to watch, but I gave it a chance. However, I had to drop it at episode 4 as I could not waste my time any longer.

To be honest, I do not understand how the rating can be so high.

I don't understand why the rating is so low. I'm glad that I read the comments that were praising the drama as it is truly amazing.

The storyline is great and it makes you hooked from the beginning and you will be on the edge of your seat until the end. I loved the suspense as you do not know what they are going to do next.

The acting was superb. The trio did a great job.
It is a sad story of Jun Seong and Jae Hyun who are pushed to their limits to do bad things as they are in a desperate situation. To be honest, I do understand Jae Hyun's choice as his only option for him to lead a normal life was to become a doctor as he has no one to take care of him. I do sympathize with them and was rooting for them as well and was wishing for a good ending for them even though I kind of knew it wouldn't end well. Also, you can see the cruelty of rich people and that the law doesn't really exist as they can do whatever they want and will not be punished.
