I know the gangster story was not necessary. I thought the gangster story was going to be an important part of…
There are so many loose ends. Like, what happened to the nurse? Was she still bullied? And we see the lady that killed the CEO to avenge her son, she but is not in prison. Also, did the bullies get punished? I wish we had better closure and more justice or revenge for the victims.
The storyline was very interesting and refreshing, but I wish they put more effort into the storytelling. It would be great if they spent more time developing the characters and showing their background and the story of the chases; they could spend more time on it as well. It's a shame as I quite liked it, but it was missing the depth, and also some scenes in the last episode were just all over the place. It would be better if they added more episodes and made a proper drama.
I agree, the story of the kids who were bullied felt the most touching to me. But ik it sounds evil, I want the…
Yes, I found it quite comical how Lee Do kills everyone and always survives, with the police always turning up afterwards.๐ I think Moon Beak's idea was that if everyone had a gun, there would no be difference in class, and people wouldn't be so easily bullied, scammed, etc., as there would be a fear of guns. Well, that is my interpretation.๐ The scene where Lee Do hugged a boy, and after, suddenly everyone was returning their guns. We did not get closure on the victims, how did they end up?
I agree, the story of the kids who were bullied felt the most touching to me. But ik it sounds evil, I want the…
Yes, I felt the same. Also, it is sad as the victims took the justice into their own hands, but in the end, they are the ones being punished by law. What an irony. The ending was not satisfying, and there were loose ends. I won't spoil it for you.
I was so looking forward to this drama as the concept is really interesting, but the drama did not deliver. It was an easy watch as it is only 10 very short episodes. To be honest, I stayed for the acting as it was great and mostly for the villain, as Young Kwang was born to be a villain. I saw his drama Eviline and he slayed the role as well.
I wish they spent more time on the stories of the victims, as the most touching was about the students. You feel for them as there is no justice if you have no money and nobody cares, so instead of ending their life, they choose the gun. I get what Moon Baek wanted to achieve, as the situation in Korea is appalling. The suicide rate is over the roof, people been chased/killed by loan sharks, bullying... one day you reach the point of desperation and pull the trigger. The story of the gangsters was unnecessary and did not bring much to the drama; I would say it was quite the opposite. It would be better if they explored the impact on society and if people would start to change. Also portraying the police as useless and in the meanwhile Lee Do sorts and saves everyone by himself. Especially the last fight, he kills the whole commando. The ending did not feel right and not satisfying at all. The script is just a mess, and the acting saved the show. It is an okay drama, not bad, not great. Such a shame as if it was done properly, it could have been awesome.
I was hooked the first few episodes, but after that I was losing interest and started skipping scenes. There are so many unnecessary flashbacks, which repeat so many times. The storyline is interesting, and it's the only thing that made me carry on watching. The mystery was the best part of the drama. I did not like the OST, and the flute was getting on my nerves...not sure why, but after a while I could not stand it. Also, the acting of the parents made the show. I don't know why, but I did not like the FL. Maybe because of the way her character was written. She cannot speak up and allows others to manipulate her. Watching her is so frustrating. The best part was her friends that brightened the mood. The middle of the drama is the worst part. I was about to drop the drama but kept watching it, and the drama picked up from episode 9. I would say the last 4 episodes is the best part of the drama. To be honest, the plot twist at the last episode was unnecessary, and they would have done a better job if they finished the drama at episode 11.
The storyline and acting of the parents is the heart of the drama, but unfortunately the drama does not deliver.
you all are missing the entire point of this kdrama and it shows. this kdrama tells us that revenge isn't a good…
Thanks for the summary of the drama, but I did not miss the point. I did not have an issue with the storyline but with the execution, as the drama did not deliver. The way the drama was produced was not interesting; the scripts were boring, and I found it hard to keep focusing.
By the way, he was not so happy at the beginning, as you could see how terribly the family was treating him, and you could see that he desires the company.
Well... I thought that I was missing something, as I could not believe that everyone praised this drama and the rating was so high. So I kept persuading myself to keep watching, but at episode 10, I had to give up. I could not take it anymore, as the drama is so long.
The storyline is so boring. The story is so overrated. There were some funny moments, but that is about it. It is basically a repetitive pattern: the villain hits them, and then Vincenzo hits them... They did not make it very interesting. To be honest, I did not care whenever any of the characters were killed. They did not know how to build suspense, atmosphere, and attachment to the characters. Especially, it has 20 episodes!
Really good concept, but I was not attached to the characters and I was getting bored while watching it. I have tried, but I dropped it at episode . There were funny moments, and you could see how it would end, even though I liked the second male lead. It is a good watch, but not good enough for me to keep watching. Also, some writing does not make sense, as she was saying she could not study and have a career even though she was 38 and had a small child, so what she was doing for 15 years?
What a disaster. I was hoping for a great revenge drama, and instead it's a boring drama that has no soul. The concept is good, but it fails at execution. It relies on the acting, but the scripts are so bad. It did not attract me from the beginning, but I thought, "Okay, I will watch one more episode as it may get better," but no. I did not really care about the characters except Dong Ju. I kept watching it for him.
I could not waste my time any longer and dropped it at episode 8 and skipped to the last one. The ending was not satisfying at all after he had to get through so much.
I did not expect it to be soooo good. Honestly, I was hesitating to start this drama, as I was thinking that it's overrated because of the actor, but I could not be more wrong! I love it. The screenwriting is good, and I was not bored for a single second.
The storyline is great. I love how Jin Su joins the team, and you can see how slowly they become close. Also, his way of solving the cases is funny; using his fame and wealth is awesome. You can see his soft side as well when he is genuinely helping the victims. The screenwriters did a great job with his character development. I like that we have a lot of cases with the main plot slowly uncovered towards the end. The best part is the team dynamic and teasing each other... hilarious!
The production is great, as is the acting. This drama has everything... action, comedy, interesting plot, mystery.
The first episode was just awesome! My expectation was so high and I was so excited, but in the end I was disappointed. The storyline was not very interesting, and I had a hard time carrying on watching it. I kept going only for Seon Ho, as his acting is just phenomenal, and he is carrying the show. It could have been a great drama if the scripts followed the story of the first episode.
Dosan is like a puppy that agrees to everything that DalMi said, especially difficult business decisions. Most of the time he is just crying and acting childish. On the other hand, Ji Pyong is a strong character, and his words are harsh, but it was always true, and people sometimes need their eyes opened instead of sugarcoating. Also, I love his relationship with harmoni.
I really tried to keep watching, but dropped at episode 10 and skipped to the last episode. It wasn't really satisfying ending for me.
It is a nice watch. I really liked the ghost stories as they were very emotional. It is nice to see how Mi Jin changed working on the cases. Also, the team dynamics is great. I love the trio.
To be honest, Mi Jun and Hui Ju would be better much than his wife. They had great chemistry together. For me, wife's character did not bring everything to the drama, quite the opposite, as the scenes in the last episode just left awkward. I like Gyeon U as he lightened the mood every time you see him.
It is a light drama that will make you cry and laugh, but you will not get stressed out as the good guys always win.
I love this dramaI binge-watched it in a few days. The storyline is perfect, and I love that they did not force a love triangle as in other dramas. To see the relationship between Mi Ji and Ho Su is just so heartwarming, and I love that there is not some unnecessary "drama," but instead they concentrated on their development... beautiful. Also, it is nice to see how the family dynamics slowly changed. The interaction between Mi Ji and Gyeong is just pure laughter. It is just perfect.
The acting is great, and Bo Young did a great job portraying both characters. The production and cinematography are great. It is a great comfort drama that you will love for their pure love.
It is really addictive! I was waiting every week for a new episode. The week never felt so long. I loved Sorn and Jun; their interaction was great, also the chemistry. Sometimes I felt like I was watching a porn. It was nice to see how their relationship developed and how Sorn changed for the better. But that is about it. The storyline is terrible, and I did not care about the other characters, as I always skipped their scenes. The acting was terrible especially the second ML couple. So basically, Sorn & Jun saved the drama.
If you wanna watch it - watch it for the main couple and ignore the rest, and do not think too much about the story.
I wish we had better closure and more justice or revenge for the victims.
