Yeah.. That's why it was awesome indeed, back then.
It broke many k-dramas rules at that era. Then, suddenly there were similar shows in every corner of k-dramaland. I found them all were meh (I value originality highly)..
I don't think I exaggerate thing if I say Full House was kinda a pioneer in Korean rom-com.

Subjectively, this drama would get a 9 from me, simply for the fond memory I once had because of it.
Objectively, all in all a 7: an enjoyable watch.

Oh no! Please don't let your hope too high! Because when I did it, most of the time, I'll get utterly disappointed, and the rest of the time, I'll get slightly disappointed LOL

Yeah, revisit the anime would be a good idea for setting up the mood. Just bear with the main pairing's absolute "teenish" / constant misunderstanding etc and I think you'll be okay. I think those things were the main flaws KnT has which triggered most people to drop it (anime/manga). I din't really find them as annoying, since like I said, I didn't read/watch it for the romance :D

Also, take a good look at how the characters (all of them) are (slowly) growing. It's one of KnT's charm.

I have nothing in my playing list currently. I'm sinking myself in the craziness of that KnT's side plot I was talking about lol. I'd like to boarding my watching preference though. I don't usually watch western series (I guess Dexter was the only one I watched), but Sherlock (the British series) cached my interest. Besides the hip it got, my good friend is currently so into it, and I know I can trust her taste.

Oh, I never saw my blogging as a job (I'll be stressed out if I think it like that, the real life is harsh already lol). I write a post when I have something I want to write. That's it. The thing is, I don't watch much OTL. Even when I have -like for the time being- currently all I want to write is that side plot of KnT manga detailed awesomeness, and that means I need to write spoilers (the result is: I'm spazzing over them at my tumblr). I'd definitely want to check your review blog if one day you make one. I checked out your dramalist, and though we share little to no mutual shows, it seems like your taste is kinda similar to mine..

Nah, I think the ending was as expected. Nice ending. I was especially very fond of the closing scene, where there was a flashback of the king and the general riding horses with big smile at their faces, then, the scenes changed seamlessly into a painting (which if i remember correctly, was painted by the king)...
