His role in Detroit Metal City was a somewhat minor one (even though he credited as the second actor at the cast list) but totally cathced my eyes!

Hi there! Thanks for accepting. I stumbled upon a couple of your reviews and I think we have quite a similar taste. Looking forward to see your next reviews~
The negative reviews seems to come from what should I call it, the manga/anime's diehard fans? fanboy? fangirl? I don't know, but I'm telling you, I read the manga before I watched this, I loved them, but I still prefer this version. Not because the movie is better, but do you know how a manga series could be a carousel? I mean no matter how great & enjoyable the manga is, it only goes with the same pattern. I'm aware Death Note is far from the worse case of how bad a carousel tendency in famous manga/anime could be, but you get the idea. That’s why I think this movie excels at taking out all of what makes Death Note series a great show, and chopping out the repetitive things, and differ it from the manga so it'll still have a good suspense for those who already familiar with the story..
Excellent adaptation! And simply excellent movie in general.
Is there a sub for this? judging from its opening scene, it looks like a fun watch. I'd really like to see this!

Hey, thanks for accepting. I saw your comment at my suggestion thread and recognize your SMA avatar. Judging from your page and list, we seem to have quite alike taste. Espescially, how I don't bother jk-pop much or pop in general except for those outstanding soundtracks. And you're so right about those "series" vs "dramas" thing. Deep in my heart, I've always prefer to call what people called "tv dramas" as "tv series". "Drama" is a genre. And just because a show is serialized in TV it doesn't always make it a "drama". But it just so hard to speak without the term in this so called "dramaland".. So glad that found someone who share this sentiment :D
Have a nice day!

Ah, you meant the one I wrote about JIS? Glad that I found someone with same sentiment^^. I thought I was the only one.. It's really ain't that hard to take alook at the cast list, rite^^
Have a nice day!
I have no problem with real-life females with no brain as not all people blessed with strength on it (I believe one always has a balanced strength & weakness, if they aren't smart by nature, they must have strength in other field by nature. The problem is often they can't see it. It's not their fault if they haven't blessed with a particular strength), but I do hate any kind of dumb female *fictional* characters, but I found Choi Hee Jin is probably the only exception. Well, I won't call her dumb, but she is stupid for sure. And her stupidity is actually quite lovely, haha. But what disturbed me most was how the so intelligent Kim Bong Du fallen to her. Well, I know how guys often only see the physical aspect of their women. This is what I called harsh reality, LOL.
Can't believe how tall he is!!!! Its insane! When he stands next to Song Hye Kyo the height difference is shocking!!…
About their height, lol, it can't be help. JIS is one of the very tall actor even among the *always-tall* Korean actors list (though for the A-list actors, there aren't many very tall actors, I only able to recall him and my fave Yoo Ji Tae). And SHK is one of the very petite actress ;)
Is this worth watching? I'm watching That Winter, The Wind Blows and the main guy is in this. It sounds interesting,…
The sex scenes was not few. Not just 1 or 2 scenes, but all over the places. That's alot. Except, if one consider this as a porn, maybe we could say there were just "quite a few" sex scenes..
Watch it at your own risk. If you're hasn't exposed to these kind of movie before, I don't recommend you to watch it.
A fun dumb watch if you are in the mood for an entertaining casual light hearted movie with dumb story. And I'm not Suju fan at all not even k-pop fan :)
This movie is definitely not for the underages, I warn you.
That's apart it is actually a good movie with good acting and good directing. But the bed scenes were just too much. I know it was needed for the sake of the story but it doesn't need to be THAT much.
Overall a good *mature* movie. Watch it at your own risk.

MG1 was a fun watch (esp when you watch it a decade ago), but not with this one. I remember the only interesting thing of this piece was Mei Zhuo's story with the girl. And that was veeerrryyyyyyy minor. In short: totally boring.
U Know Yun Ho from TVXQ was probably the worst acting idol or maybe I just didn't watch enough dramas with idols to compare him with the others and I only watched him acting in 1 dramas. Well, idol casting in dramas are a big turn off for me, esp if they were casted as lead roles while they had not much acting experience in smaller roles..
Anyhow I agree about Rain. He does can act..
I just don't get the ending. Are they dead or are they alive? The Drama was good anyway, but a bit too cliché.…
I think it's obvious they were dead. If we see they seem to be alive it's obvious they are alive in the afterlife world, or in other word: heaven.. I really curious how so many fans got confused with this. If you could tell me why you think the opposite, or why you got confused either they were dead or not, I'd be grateful and perhaps I'll know from where I need to explain why I 100% sure they were dead.. :)
maybe it's just me but as much as I loved this drama I always thought JJH acting in this drama was not that great.. (good, but not that great). oopsie, hate me all you want but that side apart I did love this drama. I remember how I was so found of the ending (call me a weird for it, but seriously, I always think the ending was one of the best kdrama ending.. It was just simply.., beautiful, esp the very final scene..). I also remember the story was kinda dragged, but the ending (along with the OST) is what really make this drama still stand in one of my top rated dramas even after so many years..

hello! Nice to know you. I stumble upon your review on Lee Min Ki's EIA. Not many people watched it and your review makes me geedy to continue my long lost pending of watching it (pardon my awkward expression, tehee). I watched it casually when it was still airing (so long ago I didn't remember what episode I left it), had much fun watching it, but you know how real life smashed your drama-watching joy.. Anyhow thanks for reminding me this piece!haha
