I fell in love with his character in Don't Cry My Love / I Love You Don't Cry. He was soo cute there!! But the show itself is frustrating! I don't recommend it, he doesn't show that much, except for the last ~30 episodes I think.
You are right about The Duo, it's all about the bromance. I thought the drama was a disaster. It's a shame, as I really liked the bromance in it.
In Heading to the Ground, he was a plain antagonist. The main lead acting was a pain to watch. The story has nothing good. The only good thing is seeing LSY in lean, young, and gorgeous figure ;)
Just another disgusting selfish triangle to ruin a good drama, but I should have listened to my gut instead of…
The so called love triangle in this show I believe was really minor. The issue was quickly resolved in about an episode (if I remembered it correctly). If you can bear it a little, the romance was wonderful for both couples.
Fighting! :)
As much as I love Hasegawa, I think his nerdy acting need some work. Takumi looked awkwardly awkward. Anne did marvelous job as Yoriko. Love the girl to bits <3. Can't wait to watch the SP.
Lol! As much as I loved the show, I think I can see your sentiment. I don't know much about the costume history, but I remember I rolled my eyes so hard whenever they showed colored pamphlet so easily here and there! I'm glad I could overlook it. Otherwise, I'd miss such a lovely gem :)
I don't get what people mean by "she doesn't look like an Asian woman anymore".. She looks very Asian to me. I think her post-surgery features resemble a LOT to typical South-east Asian beauty.
What I wanted to say is: don't say "she doesn't look like an Asian woman anymore" if what you mean was "she doesn't look like an EAST Asian woman anymore". Thank you.
For some reason, I couldn't enjoy the anime but this trully felt like the manga came to life. Really good adaptation. The cast was almost perfect. Ohta Lina's portrayal of Mayaya was beautifully spot on and Hayami as Hanamori was a pleasant surprise. I didn't fancy Hasegawa performance though. Appearance wise, he was the perfect Shu Shu oniisama, but I think his nerdy acting need some work (the same disappointment happened in Date).
Totally recommend this if you want some good smile :)

You perfectly captured the essence of what makes this show such a gem.
