Yes it reminded me of the one where they have Hikaru Genji travel to the future from the Heian-period. That one was also fun ^^

I see what they're getting at. Trying to show the experience of a child and their games through adults acting it out. It's really strange to see but okay definitely unique.

Her pension is very large but it feels lonely secluded in the forest. It would be nice if she had a pet because it feels like she is a bit too alone. I know she receives guests but if there aren't guests it must be very silent.

True, he likely had a lot of progress/records in that game that's gone forever. It's really like any other hobby where you create something personal. It's like smashing a painting he worked on for a long time.

I guess whats tiring to you is fun to me.
If she didn't say almost everything she was thinking then we would miss out on a lot of jokes. Its also not like the stuff she's giving away in her louder rants was actually important to the plot. Usually its useless information or not understandable to others around her since its modern references.
If you're not gonna have fun with modern vs old dialogues in a drama then might as well not do timetravel plotlines at all. I think you may prefer actual realistic historical stories with no comedy. That's fine and there's plenty of those around too.

According to what I'm seeing in the drama.... Pretty sure she's dead/her soul is trapped somewhere. All the memories the queen has just belong to the body. Its her brain obviously even with a different soul those memories remain.

So I personally think that this is the situation right now.
Queens body: Cooks soul
Queens soul: Trapped/gone into oblivion

Oh yeah! That was a fun short kdrama.

I hope they do, the show deserves more attention.

Finally got to see Ryusei Ryo and Furukawa Yuuki as a BL couple, after a year of waiting for the movie.

Looks cute ^^

The music sounded very much like medieval European flute-playing but it was kinda fitting considering the cosy theme they were portraying. There was also some guitar pieces with English lyrics in there. Backgrounds looked beautiful, really showing off the pretty side of the Japanese countryside.
All in all a wholesome film, would recommend this for both BL fans and people who just wanna see a nice looking Japanese movie.

So it finally happened, the movie escaped Japan xD Grateful to all those involved in making the movie available to us international fans!

Well, with 2 episodes out I can now say with certainty. I love this show. I'm watching it raw, I think it has yet to be picked up by a fansubber as of now.
